I'm not without concerns, certainly, since I don't necessarily trust Jack Dorsey or Mark Zuckerberg to make good decisions about freedom of speech, any more than I trust them to make good decisions about my safety and privacy, but I don't see this as them banning Trump or his supporters because they disagree with Trump and MAGA but because their platforms have been successfully used by Trump and others to incite insurrection and violent disorder in the Capitol and elsewhere and they fear that, if given the opportunity, Trump and others like him will simply incite more disorder and insurrection.I'm not sure - he's a Mormon from Utah - but he's also far better educated than I am. Normally he doesn't say anything political online, and this was a little vague, so I could be misunderstanding it, but it was blahblahblah but you're the good guys, so nothing to worry about.
Hmph..He still authorized ICE and other DHS personnel to beat and gas BLM protesters. This week he's on Trump's bad side.
Apparently this meltdown was just about having to wear a mask...
And who knows what forces are active behind the scenes. They're not banning Trump because they disagree with him but because they have observed that he is abusing their platforms to incite disorder and political violence.

The man who has led the "Stop the Steal" election protests nationally singles out Reps. Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs of Arizona for helping make Wednesday's pro-Trump gathering in Washington happen.
The social-media video, which is gaining newfound attention, was taped before the event turned into a riot at the U.S. Capitol that left five people dead, including a police officer.
Biggs strenuously denies any involvement with the Wednesday event. Gosar's chief of staff did not respond to an inquiry by The Arizona Republic
Not for long. WaPo and others report he's about to resign.Hmph..He still authorized ICE and other DHS personnel to beat and gas BLM protesters. This week he's on Trump's bad side.

Damn, though -talk about being a fucking snowflake.
I'd suggest that going forward, all Republicans (and sure, Democrats - why not) who are to remain in office at the federal level be required to take an oath. Not a loyalty oath like the ones Trump loves. Rather, a reality oath, where they must agree - in a public forum - there is absolutely no evidence of the massive voter fraud claimed by Trump, and that he lost in a fair and legitimate election. You can't have unity when the other side thinks you're criminals, and are allowed to keep claiming it.After a pro-Trump mob raided and vandalized the Capitol, Democrats seeking to hold President Donald Trump and his Republican lackeys accountable have been plumbing the depths of available laws and procedure.
They’ve unearthed Section Three of the 14th Amendment, a relic of the Civil War that suddenly feels very relevant.
It essentially seeks to keep those who have engaged in “insurrection or rebellion” against the United States from holding office on both the federal and state level. Back when it was written, it was, of course, referring to the rebels of the Confederacy.
