Watch to the end. Also, fucking American Enterprise Institute. It's in the same league as the Federalist Society and the Heritage Foundation.

As soon as the words "there aren't enough white babies being born in this country" came out of her mouth, I stopped the video.

I've started my own The List and it has gotten quite long now.

She was explaining how appalling these views were and where they come from, not promoting them. It was a warning.

An angle I never considered because I'm not that bright:

Phone location data is used to convict people all the time - and even just publicly expose behavior that is intended to be private. If your phone ever pings at a person's house who has publicly stated they would harbor abortion-seekers from criminalized states that will absolutely get used against you if the state decides to prosecute you.

Unless you are in a state that has specifically said they will not allow prosecution out of state. And even then...

Yeah that just means the state where you received the services won't arrest you or investigate you on behalf of another state. That's fine as long as you're there; but if you ever go home? Your home state (assuming you live in one of the bad states) doesn't necessarily need help from another state if they can just subpoena your location data from your mobile carrier.

While we're on the subject: Anyone using a period tracker app, delete it! Most of them sell your data - intended for advertising purposes, but it's already been demonstrated, MULTIPLE times, that ANYONE can purchase the data, not just advertisers. That includes not just the authorities, but also anti-abortion groups and private citizens who want to use that data against "possibly pregnant" women. There are some good apps that don't sell your data, but there will be time to figure out which ones are which and you can always re-download once it's been verified that an app is one of the good ones.

It may seem like overreacting; lack of data privacy is nothing new, we all know that. But the stakes have just gone WAY up. It's not simply a matter of creepy invasive ads anymore. :(

Or go with one based in the EU - I've heard they have to protect your data because of EU laws.

Though, best suggestion is for single cis- males to start using them, because the chaos from guys who don't get how a period works can really mess things up.

Why stop there? Lot's of people take issue with mixed-race marriages and relationships...

The Supreme Court will never go after Loving v. Virginia, for obvious reasons.

The sequel will probably be better.

Also, with the reorg of districts, Mary "Hitler Was Right" Miller is on my ballot thisnyear, I think, its hard to tell because my city basically got split in half. There are signs allmover for her.

As much as I dislike Rodney fucking Davis, my old rep, also an R, I have never wanted him to win so badley this year. Or at least beat Mary "Hitler Was Right" Miller.

This article talks about how the police could use the data against someone seeking an abortion and how to minimize that.
