Canadian-invented pizza deemed most popular in the U.S. this year

A Canadian-invented pizza has been deemed the most popular pizza in the U.S. for 2020, according to an annual report from food delivery app GrubHub.

I can't believe pineapple pizza suddenly got 7 times more popular in the last year. At any rate, the biggest pizza chain in the US is Dominos. Just the thought of pineapple Dominoes pizza is so gross.

Domino's has gotten better in recent years, at least around here. They're still not my number one go-to for pizza (though, for delivery, my only choices that aren't insanely expensive are Domino's and Pizza Hut, and Pizza Hut has really gone downhill), but they're actually edible and not terrible anymore. The worst pizza that doesn't come from the grocery store's freezer aisle? Chuck E Cheese (or, as I like to call it, Upchuck Cheese).

We always have turkey sandwiches after Thanksgiving and also with whatever I cook on the day after Christmas (sometimes goose, turkey, Cornish game hens or a rib roast). All of them make for a good sandwich except maybe the Cornish hens. Nothing better than a hot, open face turkey sandwich with cranberry on the side.

I'm making "Vanishing Oatmeal Cookies" right now. I tweaked the recipe and add allspice and also add molasses. They melt in your mouth.

My house smells wonderful right now cause I have an apple crisp baking in the oven. The apples are from my mini apple trees by my back porch (stored in the fridge for winter snacks & treats). Sliced apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, oatmeal topping with walnuts & a few other ingredients. When it's done I'll have it for dessert topped with cool whip (some prefer vanilla ice cream). Yummy stuff! A wonderful treat on a cold rainy day. I plan to have a hot cup of Earl Grey tea with it while I listen to my current audio book.

I do (prongs bent wrong) and I hide it in another drawer so as not to use by accident yet I still end up with it once in a while. Why I don’t simply throw it out idk (guilt I guess).

Chipotle just can't seem to catch a break! It wasn't too long ago that they had that big norovirus outbreak. For the record, I like Chipotle, I think their food is good. I just wish they had menu items for more petite appetites, and lower prices.

I bring a sandwich to work most days. I buy sliced meats from the deli counter at my store, and usually try to mix things up as they have a pretty good selection of meats. And I usually use sliced Colby cheddar cheese, though I sometimes try other cheeses. Just not American. Oh, and there's often turkey sandwiches after Thanksgiving, and ham sandwiches after Christmas.
