What the actual fuck is this? I don't even know how to describe it. Just watch the video... at first it looks like they are filming the aftermath of a bombing in Beiruit, which is sad, but not shocking. Then the whole fucking city explodes. I haven't seen an explosion that big since the death star blew up Alderan. Is this a conventional weapon? Quick searches show the authorities either don't know or aren't saying yet.

That what was used in the Oklahoma City bombing, yes? Isn't it a major component of fertilizer? The question is what set it off. Was the fireworks factory on fire and somehow proximity caused the explosion? Was it something inside the warehouse which housed the ammonium nitrate?

Yup, that's our idiot governor. He also couldn't win fairly, so as Secretary of State overseeing his own election, he did stuff like closing polling places, not delivering enough voting machines to busy urban precincts, and dropping people from the voter lists. And then all the electronic voting machine records were "accidentally" erased after the election, so there was no way to check the results. We have a paper trail now. You still vote on a screen, but that prints a paper ballot you can check before it gets scanned and dropped in a ballot box.
