Sen Tammy has a thing or two to say to Tucker.
"F--- Tucker Carlson," Duckworth, an Iraq War veteran and Purple Heart recipient, tweeted. "While he was practicing his two-step, America's female warriors were hunting down Al Qaeda and proving the strength of America's women."
She added: "Happy belated International Women's Day to everyone but Tucker, who even I can dance better than. ...and we all know it was his female partner who did all the hard work."
She seems ... erm.. demented?

Cheval is horse in French. Chevalier then was horseman, particularly someone who fought on horseback. They were the upper class of soldiers, because most people couldn't afford a horse, and the armor for themselves and their horse. The equivalent in English is "knight".
"Chivalry" as a cultural movement began with women like Eleanor of Aquitaine, and stories told by the troubadours of France. It was intended to make those knights behave, because they *were* locker room bullies who thought nothing of kidnapping and raping women. It gave them rules to follow in order to be "acceptable" to enter tournaments or hang around court. The lure for the knights were seriously valuable prizes in the tournaments, grants of land from the higher nobility, and meeting and marrying wealthy heiresses.
The customs of respect and courtesy to others were passed down almost to the present day as "behaving like a lady or gentleman should". From the 1200s to today, a large portion of society never followed these customs.
Basically then chivalry and the chivalric code has fuck all to do with women at all. It’s a bunch of rules about how to conduct yourself if you are a rich dude, with a horse, a lot of weapons, and time on your hands. Saying that you treat women well because of chivalry makes about as much sense as saying you treat them well because of the highway code. It’s just not a thing.
More to the point, anything slightly about women in concepts of chivalry is the same old creepy-ass courtly love stuff, and mostly is just about keeping your boner in your pants while your boss is looking. (I do advocate that men keep their boners in their pants unless otherwise requested, however, and it will probably save you grief with HR if you commit to this at work at the very least.)
That looks very on brand for Hebdo. I wish we could do alternate reality testing and swap out Elizabeth and Meghan for the Dutch king and Svarte Piet and see if the Anglo world notices or has a different reaction.![]()

Thinking on this more, it’s impressive how Hebdo managed to anger the entire anglosphere at once. Usually it’s either lolBritain or Lolmerica.![]()

I dunno. Admittedly I hear about Hebdo only when they really manage to upset people outside France, but I have to say that if I kept on finding myself accused of racism and religious bigotry and having to respond by complaining people just don't get my jokes, I'd have rethought my act by now.Thinking on this more, it’s impressive how Hebdo managed to anger the entire anglosphere at once. The French as I understand them don’t necessarily set out to do that, it’s that they don’t care if they do. And if they do manage, they still can’t even be arsed to set out a bag of dicks for those incensed.
Hebdo itself gives even fewer fucks and stands as an example as why anglos will never understand the French.

In the immortal words of PeeWee Herman, "Well duh!"Auditors were only able to recoup about 39% of the more than $4 billion in unpaid taxes owed by a group of rich taxpayers with an average annual income of nearly $1.6 million, the report found. The findings suggest that the IRS should place more emphasis on a taxpayer’s income when determining whether to pursue an audit case, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration said in the report released Monday.
