She's mistaken, quite simply.

If she ever has to face an English court then, assuming she pleads guilty, she's almost certainly looking at two years for death by dangerous driving. Ms Jeffress may be confusing it with the sentencing for causing death by careless driving, but death by dangerous driving (which this was) almost invariably leads to at least 2 years custody (though she'd be released on licence -- parole -- half way through).

I used to live near there. In fact, I lived about 10 miles away from San Carlos Reservation. I can tell you this - drive down Highway 60 through Globe and Miami Arizona and look at what the copper industry has done to those towns and to the land. They were poisoned and it was horrible! Also, the company that owns Resolution Copper (Rio Tinto and BHP) has a terrible reputation with indigenous people.

He's pretty much burned all his bridges now -- he's pushed his shock-comedy act way too far, and everyone's seen him for what he is, a dangerously narcissistic and toxic personality, completely lacking in any sort of judgement.

The only way out is to make a pitch to the conservative evangelicals, who will buy a repentance story, particularly from someone like Milo, and he'll make sure they pay a good price for it, too, but it has to be repentance leading to conversion.

Only then will they allow him to pick their pockets, which he will do until his urge to self-destructive mischief grows too strong and he blows up again in some comedically inappropriate pratfall.
