Not WTF'ing the bit about him being fired - that gets a "Yay". I'm WTF'ing the bit about him jumping on the classic cars in the first place. WTF was he thinking??? And who's going to pay for the damage he's sure to have done?
I would've liked to see him pull that shit at one of the impromptu "mall parking lot" car shows.

I've head of snakes on planes, but dogs in tutus? No wonder the poor creatures were "distressed."

A flight from Gatwick Airport has been delayed after French bulldogs wearing tutus were found onboard.

A number of emotional support dogs were found in passengers' hand luggage on a Norwegian Air flight destined for Austin, Texas.

The Boeing 787 had been due to depart at 11:00 BST but was delayed by an hour and a half.

A spokesman for Norwegian Air said the captain decided to offload the "distressed" dogs and their owners.

Writing on his personal website in May, Morrissey claimed he was the victim of an “inexhaustible hate campaign” by the Guardian, imploring his supporters: “Please do not buy this wretched hate-paper, whose every 2019 utterance echoes the late Mary Whitehouse.”

During a May performance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Morrissey decided to wear a For Britain badge. In June, he reaffirmed his support for the party in an interview with his nephew, published again on his own website.

Earlier this month he ejected an anti-far-right protester from his concert in Portland. The protester had been carrying two posters, one which depicted the logo of For Britain struck through by a red line, while the other read: “Bigmouth indeed.”

It's Johnny Marr I feel sorry for - a great musician forever associated in people's minds with a POS like Morrisey.
Yeah, guitarists like myself trend to think of Marr refueling separately, but the general public thinks of the Smiths I guess. He's done so much more than that.

Bloomberg - Are you a robot?

Had their hand out to receive aid from the government, but fuck the employees, right? Fuck this guy.

Robert E. Murray, the U.S. coal baron who pressed the Trump administration to help save America’s struggling miners, placed his company into bankruptcy as demand for the fossil fuel continues to weaken.

Murray Energy Holdings Co. filed for Chapter 11 protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Columbus, Ohio, to restructure more than $2.7 billion of debt. The miner -- the largest privately owned U.S. coal company -- reached a restructuring support agreement with lenders who hold more than 60% of a $1.7 billion loan, the company said in a statement. The deal provides a new $350 million loan to keep operations going during the reorganization.
The lender agreement calls for the reorganized company to reject any existing collective bargaining agreement between the company and employees, the disclosures show. Murray, which has more than 5,000 employees -- 2,400 of whom are active union members -- said it faces more than $8 billion in liabilities for various pensions and benefit plans.
This is the guy:
Crandall Canyon Mine - Wikipedia

In 2006, the mine was cited for several safety violations, including lacking the required number of escape routes.[7] Murray said that the safety violations were trivial and included violations such as not having enough toilet paper in the restroom

Robert Murray was also heavily criticized for his actions during the rescue attempt. The MSHA cited his volatile behavior, especially at daily briefings for family members. MSHA reported that he "frequently became very irate and would start yelling," even making young children cry. He told family members that "the media is telling you lies" and "the union is your enemy."

The fight to stop Nestlé from taking America's water to sell in plastic bottles

A corporation that deems itself worthy of deciding how much daily water is allowed? No, privatization is not the answer. Greed is never the answer.

The network of clear streams comprising California’s Strawberry Creek run down the side of a steep, rocky mountain in a national forest two hours east of Los Angeles. Last year Nestlé siphoned 45m gallons of pristine spring water from the creek and bottled it under the Arrowhead Water label.Though it’s on federal land, the Swiss bottled water giant paid the US Forest Service and state practically nothing, and it profited handsomely: Nestlé Waters’ 2018 worldwide sales exceeded $7.8bn.

Meanwhile, the state is investigating whether Nestlé is illegally drawing from Strawberry Creek and in 2017 advised it to “immediately cease any unauthorized diversions”. Still, a year later, the Forest Service approved a new five-year permit that allows Nestlé to continue using federal land to extract water, a decision critics say defies common sense.

Strawberry Creek is emblematic of the intense, complex water fights playing out around the nation between Nestlé, grassroots opposition, and government officials. At stake is control of the nation’s freshwater supply and billions in profits as Nestlé bottles America’s water then sells it back in plastic bottles. Those in opposition, such as Amanda Frye, an author and nutritionist, increasingly view Nestlé as a corporate villain motivated by “greed”.

Ultimately, the debate’s particulars lead back to a question at the heart of issue: should water be commodified and sold by private industry, or is it a basic human right?

Former Nestlé chief executive and chairman Peter Brabeck labeled the latter viewpoint “extreme” and called water a “grocery product” that should “have a market value”. He later amended that, arguing 25 liters of water daily is a “human right”, but water used to fill a pool or wash a car shouldn’t be free. At its current pace, the world will run out of freshwater before oil, Brabeck said, and he suggests privatization is the answer.

The USDA projects that farm income this year will increase to 88 billion. Part of the reason for that increase is that 40% of farm income will be due to government assistance. Despite that help, farm debt is projected to hit record high levels. From Sep 2018 to Sep 2019 the number of farmers filing Chapter 12 bankruptcy is up by 24%.

Farm Bankruptcies Rise Again

At the same time there is little indication that rural areas have a change of heart with respect to their political leanings, and according to thehill.com President Trump's approval rating in some rural areas is 60%. Even though farms are going under at record rates and farmers are at the mercy of government hand outs, at least we do not have a woman (or God forbid, a black man) as president.

Murray Energy generated 6 percent all total of America's energy output last year, according to the Energy Information Administration. It joins Blackjewel Mining in West Virginia and Cloud Peak Energy in Wyoming in having filed for bankruptcy this year.
I admit it, I lol'ed.

You're not kidding. Around here in California's rural Central Valley, Trump is a god who walks on water, even as farms go under. It's just mind-boggling.

The home is owned by Benton County Sheriff Donald E. Munson, property records show. IndyStar left a message for Munson with Benton County dispatchers on Thursday.

[...]

An 8-foot long reticulated python was loosely coiled around [Laura] Hurst's neck, [Indiana State Police Sgt. Kim ] Riley said. Medics tried unsuccessfully to revive her.

Hurst owned about 20 of the about 140 snakes that were kept at the home. Riley said she visits the home about twice a week. No one lives in the home, which Riley said is "made for the keeping of snakes."
Update, Friday Nov. 1: An autopsy confirmed that the woman was strangled to death by the snake, authorities said.

Things to do with Trump 2020 fake currency:

Set up a dart board and tape this to the bulls-eye.

If close to a Trump property, tape it to a brick and throw it at a window.

Use it in an occult ceremony and try to trap the demon inhabiting his body.

Report it as counterfeit to the Secret Service (it's their other job besides guarding people).

It's a chicken sandwich, guys! A chicken fucking sandwich!

Dozens of fast food restaurants sell chicken sandwiches, and none of them have erupted into violence. What is so special about Popeye's?
