I hope this gets more blatant since this will hopefully alienate some of the horny goons who favor them on the internet. A lot of young male conservatives and moderates that I've encountered are not nearly compassionate enough to be liberals but are also too decadent to be on board with the Puritan bullshit. They don't give a shit about a woman's right to an abortion but will care a lot of the GOP cracks down harder on their porn.
I don't think it's entirely anti-sex as it is anti-women having sex and enjoying it. Masturbation aside, they don't seem to care much about men having sex, but that women are to be punished for daring to open our legs. The attack on contraceptives, sex education, and abortion are all aimed at punishing women.
Yes, but I think a lot of those goons don't think the rules apply to them, just as they clearly don't apply to the great orange one.I hope this gets more blatant since this will hopefully alienate some of the horny goons who favor them on the internet. Really? Normally being an extremist Christian nut case is equal to ""Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it.", so fucking like a bunch of horny rabbits.
I'm in AZ right now. Fuck this state.Arizona Supreme Court rules state must adhere to century-old law banning nearly all abortions | CNN
In a historic decision Tuesday, the Arizona Supreme Court ruled the state must adhere to a 123-year-old law barring all abortions except in cases when “it is necessary to save” a pregnant person’s life.www.cnn.com
>> a new standard for "human rights jurisprudence" that places "history and traditions" over individual rights. The U.S. Supreme Court decision that struck down Roe v. Wade was cited in Uganda's decision to uphold an anti-gay law calling for the execution of those who practice "aggravated homosexuality."
The Constitutional Court of Uganda on Wednesday used the Supreme Court's decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization as justification to largely uphold Anti-Homosexuality Act 2023, arguing that the U.S. court's conservative majority had established a new standard for "human rights jurisprudence" that places "history and traditions" over individual rights.
One woman miscarried in the lobby restroom of a Texas emergency room as front desk staff refused to admit her. Another woman learned that her fetus had no heartbeat at a Florida hospital, the day after a security guard turned her away from the facility. And in North Carolina, a woman gave birth in a car after an emergency room couldn’t offer an ultrasound. The baby later died.
“It is shocking, it’s absolutely shocking,” said Amelia Huntsberger, an OB/GYN in Oregon. “It is appalling that someone would show up to an emergency room and not receive care -- this is inconceivable.”
Federal law requires emergency rooms to treat or stabilize patients who are in active labor and provide a medical transfer to another hospital if they don’t have the staff or resources to treat them. Medical facilities must comply with the law if they accept Medicare funding.
The Supreme Court will hear arguments Wednesday that could weaken those protections. The Biden administration has sued Idaho over its abortion ban, even in medical emergencies, arguing it conflicts with the federal law.
Nope. They are trying to normalize this shit so we end up thanking them for only a 15 week abortion ban. Sorry not sorry. Fuck that noise!A bit more sanity appears to be creeping into Arizona. (Though the goal is to reinstate the previous, not great15-week limit).
Red states have been doing that for a long time. Tons of silly regulations on abortion clinics designed to be impossible to follow. Even things such as how wide the hallways have to be and crap like that. From what I've heard it's still going to be just about impossible to get an abortion even before 15 weeks as, apparently, there are all kinds of conditions and caveats designed to make it impossible. However in spite of searching I can't find any details.
