Phil Donahue was married to Marlo Thomas (That Girl) from 1980 until his death. It seems like an unlikely combination to me but a good one it seems after all that time. RIP Phil and best wishes to Marlo.

Season 4, Episode 1 is on Hulu now... new episodes on Tuesdays. =)

I've been hanging on just for this. Afterwards I may unsubscribe. Netflix is mostly garbage, max seems dead. Hulu/Disney is okay once on a while, Paramount has lower decks and strange new worlds, coming at some point.. but dunno when.

And prime is driving me away with their ads.

I'm just kind of fed up with all of it. . The streaming era is imploding into unscripted background noise. Bleah.

Yeah i unsubscribed to Netflix and Crave, and used my try out for Paramount to watch the last season of evil. I sort of have to keep Prime, and just went back to Apple (they really have great quality shows).

The thing with Disney is I'm not into Star Wars and "kid" stuff, so thats why I let them go.

Disney's has strayed from 'kid safe' with the Hulu pseudo-merge.

Hulu has been pretty decent honestly. In addition to OMITB there's:

• 'Devs' (strange sci-fi)
• Shogun (excellent!)
• 'Extraordinary' (very silly premise and glib humor)
• Krapopolis (animated dawn of civilization stuff, quick snarky and with great voice actors)
• and the last season of the outstanding 'What We Do in the Shadows' is on the way supposedly.

I'm tempted to try to re-up with Apple, I hear good things about 'Bad Monkey' and Ted Lasso was good. Silo I sorta loved/hated. 'For All Mankind' had so much promise but felt kinda soapy and slow to me. If they drop a second 'must watch' series I'll consider it.

MAX is sorta the 'DCU' channel now it seems, and most of that kinda puts me to sleep, though -some- of the Doom Patrol/Suicide Squad stuff and Peacemaker really worked for me. =/ Hacks and Our Flag Means Death were worth it though. I'm not into the 'house of the dragon' stuff.

It’s a little different in Canada(Disney and others) so we don’t get the same offered. No Hulu here, though I think some of it is on Star. And Crave used to have the new Star Trek series, but not anymore, although they do have some of the Max.

Ive been watching Sunny on Apple, really like it, and I’m halfway through Severance. There’s also Slow Horses coming up, along with Silo, and eventually Murderbot - can’t wait for that.
