I'm pretty sure this is all phony. Not the mutual hatred - that part was inevitable, as you hint at. But all the threats and cancellations. I bet they're eventually going to calm down and not go through with any of it.

I do think that Musk vastly overestimates his political influence though, with his pleas to the Senate to reject the budget and even saying he supports impeachment. That's actually kind of funny.

It's gotta be a heck of a week to be a Musk cultist who also supports Trump. I wonder how they're coping with this.
