I mean he's being careful here but he's not exactly holding onto the handrail for dear life. He seems pretty okay. It's hard to square with his behavior yesterday when he seemed extremely frail and someone needed to hold onto him while he gingerly descended a rather shallow ramp.

You can also tell when Trump is having a bad day when he uses the basement stairs on AF1, which he started doing sometimes about a year and a half ago:

Obviously it's foolish to predict elections on six months ahead of the event, but as I read that article, I found myself repeatedly trying to imagine -- based on their comments -- what set of circumstances wouldn't cause these officials to predict a landslide, since they see the current state of affairs as so highly propitious.

Seriously, I wanted to ask them, "how bad would things have to get before you would begin to doubt the likely outcome in November?"
