Like a 4 year old caught lying: "MOM! Quit asking me about details, you're nasty!"

He didn't even ask for details - have a look at the question that sent Trump over the edge this time:

"What do you say to Americans, who are watching you right now, who are scared?"

That's such a softball question. He basically gave Trump an opportunity to say something presidential but nope, can't have that with this guy.

Yeah, but he takes everything as treason now. US citizens must not be scared by presidental order - scared folks are open rebellion against the president! ... as is mentioning their existance. He begins to sound a lot like late Stalin.

North Korea on Saturday welcomed what it said was a letter from U.S. President Donald Trump to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, saying it was a sign of “the special and very firm personal relations” between the two leaders despite recent frictions.

A senior Trump administration official confirmed Trump sent the letter and said it was “consistent with his efforts to engage global leaders during the ongoing pandemic.”

The longer this pandemic lasts, the more I am convinced that he's now the naked emperor and this might cost him his second term, because his inability to handle the crisis is nothing he could blame the Democrats for.
Oh, he'd try. He'd certainly try. And the MAGAts would eat it up.

Isn't Azithromycin an antibiotic? Since when has an antibiotic ever been effective against a virus???
Never, but back when I had real flu doc gave it to me too, mumbling something about coinfection... once your immune system is busy you might be target for other diseases of microbiotioc origin.
Medicine and immunology are no single task systems - that was the 70s doctrine. If you regulate something up or down (or a virus does that for you) a plethora of unintended side effect start as your body tries finding new equilibria for each biochemical pathway affected.

Good that someone is doing this. Of course the donniecult is convinced every word he says is always the truth, even when it is provably wrong. Then there are rich idiots who will buy whatever rather than wait for the doctors to weigh in.

That is true. But you should only give someone an antibiotic when a bacterial infection is indicated. You don't give it as broad treatment for everyone whether they need it or not. That's how superbugs evolve.
