Trump is still going to sail to the nomination. His fanbase knows he's guilty but doesn't give a shit.

If we assume Trump somehow doesn't win or drops dead then I think DeSantis is SLIGHTLY worse than Pence. The fact that Pence had the audacity to explain to Trump that he couldn't overthrow the election for him suggests Pence has some connection to reality. I'm not so sure about DeSantis.

DeSantis.

DeSantis has backing and cloud and all that. Pence is shitty on policy, but he is a wet rag. If he somehow became President, I imagine essentially nothing would really get accomplished by him. Since it is a civil case and not a criminal one, probably not. IMO, it shouldn't make a difference in the case of sexual assault/abuse.
