This is about the UK. Dominic Cummings was the mastermind behind Vote Leave, and later Johnson's senior Special Advisor in Downing Street until they spectacularly fell out late last year.
He's giving evidence to the House of Commons on Wednesday at which he is expected to produce what he and friendly journalists, at least, consider damning evidence that Boris Johnson is as bad as we all know he is, but this time it's in writing.
He has a long history of being hired by, and then fighting with and being fired by, senior Conservative politicians here, and it's always horribly messy.
As The Times points out, he helped destroy both Iain Duncan Smith and David Cameron as Conservative leaders, and he's now trying to do the same to Boris Johnson.
The problem for the Tories is that Cummings is an ideologue, but not a Conservative one, and he's very bright (though not as bright as he thinks he is, since that would be impossible), somewhat crazy, and completely uninterested in public office or becoming even wealthier than he is already (father-in-law notoriously owns a castle).
