It's not like Florida is the only state with ports for boarding cruise ships, but, as usual, he didn't think it through.
Or maybe he thinks he and his state are all -important. After all, that's where the former guy lives 😣
Sometimes it seems like the COVID deniers and anti-vaxxers are working harder than ever to make their view into reality for others.

Life is getting safer for those of us who are vaccinated, but it's just as dangerous as it ever has been for the unvaccinated. The case and hospitalization rates among the unvaccinated are not dropping.

Not entirely surprising, of course. The people who were most likely to isolate and wear masks are also the ones most likely to get vaccinated as soon as possible. The people who don't get vaccinated are the ones least likely to take precautions against catching Covid.

What she was getting paid is outrageous in itself. $11/hour? I know what aides were getting, even through agencies, five, ten, years ago, and it was more than that.
I hope the ACLU or someone takes up her car and she ends up getting her license back and paid a better wage.

This is why MTG'S remarks, and the woman in Nashville selling replica Holocaust badges (with "not vaxxed" in place of Jude) are more than just tacky and uninformed. They are probably under-informed, but they know enough to put the antisemitism in there to twist the knife.
There's no excuse for people making that kind of comparison, ever, at least not after the first time someone's explained to them why it's so wrong and hurtful.

MTG actually doubled down, saying "any reasonable Jewish person" would agree with her.
The reasonable Jewish people who had lost family in the Holocaust, unsurprisingly, did not agree.
I didn't see any actual Jewish people who did.
