That has to do with some very specific and unusual job positions in labor relations, not members of Congress.

Sorry, wrong link. That has to do with some very specific and unusual job positions in labor relations, not members of Congress.
The US constitution specifies "Article I, Section 6 also says that Senators and Representatives shall not be questioned in court or by the President for any speech or debate they give or participate in on the floor of the Senate or the House. This assures ample freedom of debate in Congress." Also "They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; " Aside from that they are subject to all the other laws that apply to everyone.Does he enjoy any sort of immunity from either state or federal prosecution because of his office? I ask because I know in some places elected representatives can't be prosecuted, though not in others. We prosecute sitting Members of Parliament, for example.
A level of immunity meaning rich daddy?I'm not sure, entirely. I mean, I know the sitting President is immune from certain things, which could explain why someone was so desperate to stay in office. I can't imagine any other reason to not at least pretend to investigate Gaetz on charges of doing illegal drugs, sex with minors or anything else he's been implicated in, other than a level of immunity.
Sorry to say this but it's Florida and these two women are white so it's unlikely that they have to worry about getting life in prison for something so stupid. It's also sad to say that sentencing for trivial stuff like this can still be given when crimes like rape go unpunished for the rich and powerful.![]()
Two Florida Women Are in More Trouble Than You Might Think After Allegedly Throwing Glitter at a Man Inside His Apartment
While the particles used in the alleged incident may be paltry in the extreme, the charges decidedly are not. Each woman faces the possibility of life in prison, according to Florida Statutes.lawandcrime.com
Though if he's a white guy, they might get the book thrown at them - they are women, after all.Sorry to say this but it's Florida and these two women are white so it's unlikely that they have to worry about getting life in prison for something so stupid. I think they may not be as lucky if they are poor, rather than rich, white women.Though if he's a white guy, they might get the book thrown at them - they are women, after all.
Trying to figure out how anyone can use paradise, Florida, kingdom and authoritarian in the same sentence unironically....
It's a paradise if you're an authoritarian who wants to be king.Trying to figure out how anyone can use paradise, Florida, kingdom and authoritarian in the same sentence unironically....
Authorities believe Logan Smith, 18, planned to store his victim’s body in a closet and use the remains to “fulfill his sexual fantasies”.
However, Smith’s alleged plans were thwarted when his victim used his martial arts training to fight off the suspected attack. The victim reportedly overpowered Smith and detained him until deputies arrived on the scene.
A police report detailed how the alleged attempted assault took place. Investigators claim that Smith told them he had planned the attack after studying the jogger’s movements from his home over a six week period. Smith said he decided he wanted to kill the jogger after watching a movie that included graphic depictions of murderous acts.
The victim told investigators that he immediately realized he was under attack before using martial arts to defend himself and subdue Smith. The jogger was not injured during this incident.
There is certainly a great positive potential, but large chunks of mankind are evil.
Praise the forces, that it will most likely all become first available long after I have eaten my last sandwich.
So I don't have to make choice to take one or not or get this stuff forced on me.
There are some very scary people to there. Even scarier, finding out they're your neighbors or coworkers.Sometimes Florida Man succeeds against Florida Man!

Florida man uses martial arts to fight off suspected necrophile

One can only hope. So, as per my spouse, the Florida Senate is in a clash with DeathSentence over new district maps.
IIRC, our Constitution has an amendment forbidding gerrymandering [if only they would realize a box can be gerrymandered as much as a squiggly area connecting two cities], so I'm guessing that the Senate is telling the Gov he can go sit and spin on his authoritarian demands.
This is INSANE, there are no words for the absolute stupidity. No matter what the other driver did, the drive in the video's car was not damaged by a stupid water bottle, just his what? pride? He's DAMN lucky he didn't hit the driver he was aiming at, himself or an innocent bystander. I can't fathom why someone would do this - he has completely wrecked his car and his life, losing his job and serving time for two felonies, over what?![]()
