For the most part, I agree. She’s too hawkish for my preference, but there’s a huge difference between hawkish and warmonger. But she’s also done a lifetime of good work in public service, so despite the fact that she wasn’t my first choice candidate, I do believe she can be an extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful voice and I’m glad she refuses to crawl off and hide. She has problematic positions I don’t agree with (she expressed some views recently that were a little TERFish, but her daughter is hammering at her in much the same way Obama talked about Michelle and the girls hammering at him on equal marriage). She also still has an enormous and enthusiastic base that has been ignored post-Trump in favor of centering populist “progressives” and white nationalists. Our media is a disgraceful mess right now.

2) I think it IS reasonable to want to see the presidency go to someone who has 1 in a million judgement. I'd rather see the presidency go to someone who was later proven right by history than someone who was wrong with the group over and over. Unfortunately, the politicians with the best name recognition are usually people who were in the center of most major decisions, no matter what was proven right or wrong later.

My priority now now is competency. The GOP have been willfully dismantling so much of the government and putting it back together is going to be a nightmare. I have no patience for candidates with no experience doing the work or who I don’t trust to get shit done. I don’t like Biden, but I do think he’ll get the right people in the right places to rebuild. Kamala and Castro are my first choices, but if the base is set on Biden I’ll have to swallow it up and vote for him.

What did she do? She gave up her seat in Congress. As for The Palmer Report's speculation that she might run as a 3rd party, she has said that she will not. I certainly hope not. Whether she will continue to say that remains to be seen. She is polling at just over 1% so she does not have any chance of being a real democratic contender.

Her policies are solidly left. The only rightward crossover is her appeal to non-interventionists.

She's probably done with the party because of the corruption. Remember, she was DNC Vice-Chair and knows how the sausage is made. That plus the constant smears by Clinton allies in the media is enough.

He repeatedly said that Biden replaced the Prosecutor General in Ukraine who was actively prosecuting Burisma with someone who stopped the investigation. The person who was there originally failed to investigate Burisma, and the person who replaced him picked started the investigation. While the new person was more aggressive he eventually dropped the ball, but the original Prosecutor General was far more passive. A number of news outlets repeated statements from administration officials that were not true but also corrected the lies in the same articles.

Speaking of repeating things, it was interesting that he snuck in a way to repeat John Solomon's conspiracy theory about Paul Manafort that was regurgitated from news outlets such as Sean Hannity's show, the Washington Examiner, and Breitbart.

Sorry for dredging up old discussions as well as quoting myself, but it seems that John Solomon is back in the news. It is not in a good way, though. Seems there is strong evidence that he was working common connections to insure that his manufactured conspiracy would be backed up by manufactured evidence.

Let me be very clear; disinformation is alarmingly rampant, is being used by multiple sides and it profoundly bothers me that not enough is being done to either counter, nullify or eliminate it.
