Oh, I don't find it hard to understand people like that.I don't claim to understand right wing women but just know they exist in non trivial numbers. From what I've seen they have a very complex set of inconsistent world views where they have lesser status to men except it's OTHER women who need to be more quiet and submissive. I think many right wing women I've known even have very feminist views when it comes to their own rights but obviously don't accept the label as they believe "feminist" is a very dirty word!
Another interesting take was Dworkin's work. I mostly hate her work, but I think this one was interesting and inciteful.
She lives in the urban cancer known as Scottsdale, Arizona.
It took me a few minutes on Google Maps to figure out how she and her late husband tick(ed). They're not overly complex characters.
Once you start thinking about what kind of person would pay millions for a house in a place like that, everything kinda falls into place.
