I don't claim to understand right wing women but just know they exist in non trivial numbers. From what I've seen they have a very complex set of inconsistent world views where they have lesser status to men except it's OTHER women who need to be more quiet and submissive. I think many right wing women I've known even have very feminist views when it comes to their own rights but obviously don't accept the label as they believe "feminist" is a very dirty word!

Another interesting take was Dworkin's work. I mostly hate her work, but I think this one was interesting and inciteful.

Oh, I don't find it hard to understand people like that.

She lives in the urban cancer known as Scottsdale, Arizona.

It took me a few minutes on Google Maps to figure out how she and her late husband tick(ed). They're not overly complex characters.

Once you start thinking about what kind of person would pay millions for a house in a place like that, everything kinda falls into place.

I don't think conservative women care much about the glass ceiling imposed by their political party.

The chronic 'Us V. Them' objectification their party perpetuates probably makes it crystal clear that it's far better for them to be a favored second class citizen instead of a man from the "unwashed, evil, immoral, selfish, lazy, traitorous lefties".

They're not going to gamble that security for a chance at rising above 'their place'.

They also tend to be emotionally stunted, hyper-materialistic, prone to impulsive behavior and self-obsessed.

That seems to be true of Trump's inner circle of pick-me's, but I really don't think conservative women in general fall into these categories necessarily. Especially the one I highlighted.

I'm specifically referring to younger women aged 30-40 years who are politically active in the modern-day Republican party.

If they're older than that, they might be holdouts from a previous era - and if they're much younger than that, they might not have formed their own political views yet.

ETA: examples for the kind of impulsiveness I was referring to include Kirsti Noem shooting her dog and goat, Sarah Huckabee-Sanders (allegedly) going on a taxpayer-funded trip to Paris, or every time a Karen calls the police when she sees a black person walking through a public park. These are all acts committed by conservative women who are at an age where they must have come to the realization that their time is running out and that they are in danger of being replaced by a younger mistress.

Self-sufficiency requires a modicum of discipline, self-awareness, restraint.

If you have a protector/chaperone/sugardaddy, you can pull on the leash as hard as you like, knowing you'll get held back, bailed out or rescued as necessary. It becomes more of an intra-relationship transactional matter than a matter of public decency/manners/respect.

Reuters: The Charlie Kirk purge: How 600 Americans were punished in a pro-Trump crackdown

Two months after Charlie Kirk’s assassination, a government-backed campaign has led to firings, suspensions, investigations and other action against more than 600 people. Republican officials have endorsed the punishments, saying that those who glorify violence should be removed from positions of trust.
This account is the most comprehensive to date of the backlash against Kirk’s critics, tracing how senior officials in President Donald Trump’s administration, local Republican lawmakers and allied influencers mobilized to enforce the Trump movement’s views. The story maps the pro-Trump machinery of retaliation now reshaping American political life, detailing its scale and tactics, ranging from shaming on social media to public pressure on employers and threats to defund institutions. Earlier reports by Reuters have documented how Trump has purged the federal government of employees deemed opponents of his agenda and cracked down on law firms defending people in the administration’s crosshairs.
