That has been a thing for a few weeks. As if his old, white man moves make him some kind of special. Like anything else with the Trump worship, I don't get it.Why did this idiot make a gay anthem his theme song?
The question considered at some length:Why did this idiot make a gay anthem his theme song?
Real quick, before I go to the next page.I've actually run some numbers. Sources Florida Early Voting Statistics
I'm interested in Florida, because 1.) if Biden wins Florida, the race is over, 2.) Florida has a high early voter turnout, 3.) Party affiliation is in the stats.
9 million people in Florida have already voted representing 63% of registered voters. A good guess is that 90% of the registered voters will vote which represents about 12.6 million votes. 6.3 million are needed to win.
Florida will announce the early voting totals at 8PM EST assuming all the polls are closed, containing the early results.
Educated guess based on early voting numbers and New York Times polls puts the race at approximately:
Biden 4.23 million
Trump 3.79 million
Biden was always favored to win the early voting, so these results do not seem surprising.
So many people have voted early that 4 million is the upper limit of votes cast on November 3. While these 4 million will be mostly Republican, the best guess is that the max edge in these 4 million is Trump 55% to Biden 45%. Meaning the maximum Trump can make up is 400,000 votes.
So if Biden leads by more than 400,000 votes at 8 PM EST, Biden will win Florida and the Presidency. My above educated guesstimate has him leading by 440,000.
If Biden's lead is less than 400,000 it could be a long night.![]()
This is a phenomenon that isn’t unique to Trump, but has bugged me forever about stupid PWT gatherings. They just decide a song means something and then ignore what the lyrics actually say or what the artists actually intend. It’s like how they play Born In the USA and Fortunate Son at their flag-humping rallies despite the fact that those are not “I love America” songs. Or how their clueless daughters pick Every Breath You Take as wedding songs. Why did this idiot make a gay anthem his theme song?
OMG, you hit upon a rant of mine. Born in the USA is NOT a fucking anthem. Fortunate Son describes a Trump. This is a phenomenon that isn’t unique to Trump, but has bugged me forever about stupid PWT gatherings. So Trump doing the domestic abuser old white fuck shuffle to one of the biggest gay anthems ever is right on brand.
As Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden visited the grave of his son Beau on Tuesday morning, Trump campaign national press secretary Hogan Gidley was asking if the nominee had “called a lid.”
The abrupt question smacked of insensitivity as Biden began Election Day by attending church with his wife Jill Biden and two of their granddaughters at St. Joseph on the Brandywine in Greenville, Delaware.
The Trump campaign has often invoked calling a “lid” — a term reporters use when a politician is done traveling for the day — as a way to mock Biden and paint him as a low energy candidate who rarely emerges from his “basement” to campaign.
Trumps fogie-Hustle will never be as bad as "MC Rove". I'm not even going to post a video of that because it's probably cursed and you'll die five days after watching it or something. That has been a thing for a few weeks. I couldn't agree more.Jolene that kind of leads in to something I’ve been thinking about as I see Trump supporters on social media or interviewed on television or even, inexplicably, the letters to the editor in my local Canadian newspapers complaining about suppressing the Hunter Biden story. What becomes of them if/when Trump loses?
I believe Trump is a symptom in many ways, not the cause. Something is deeply flawed in some people’s lives, and perhaps always was, and while Trump empowered and emboldened many, I think he had a lot of fuel to work with and just had to fan it a bit. So what happens to those people? Do they go back underground, feeling and speaking and believing the same things but more careful about the audience while they wait for their next populist leader? Or will a loss embolden them further, serve as proof of all those dark angry feelings and beliefs they have?
Having seen this side of people, the gleeful willingness to reject facts and common decency alike, I don’t think this ends with Trump out of office.
To think about his more I am not the only one who rejected my sister's values? Her own daughters did, as well. She had 2 daughters when she was younger and one who just graduated and wants to go into Immigration Law. I don't know, but if she votes, and she can as she just turned 18 in August, will be a vote for Democrats. My sister said, "You all have turned against me. don't do that with my baby" I was like, what? We would never do that." Her youngest daughter, the super smart one who wants to go into immigration law is 1/2 latino. she has two mixed race grandchildren. I don't get it.Jolene that kind of leads in to something I’ve been thinking about as I see Trump supporters on social media or interviewed on television or even, inexplicably, the letters to the editor in my local Canadian newspapers complaining about suppressing the Hunter Biden story.
