Interesting. Didn't he help get Dump elected in the first place? I wonder what he's up to now?
Perhaps the Murdochs (and particularly the younger ones) don't think it's in News Corps' interests to have the US run by a clearly crazed far-right kleptocrat, who behaves more like the president of a Central Asian republic than a leader in a democracy, and particularly don't think it's in Fox's interests to be too close to him as he and his administration spiral further out of control.

Tucker Carlson has had Disney and T-Mobile cancel their adverising on his show, after all, and the Murdochs maybe feel this is a good time to cut loose from Trump to avoid going down with him.

If they start promoting "never-trumpers" I think that would be a sure sign of their intentions.
Just last week that Nostrils guy called Fox a liberal news org.

The Murdochs me precisely what he was when they promoted his candidacy. Perhaps the younger ones didn’t have as much say at the time, but they all knew what they were helping to inflict on us.

Then MSNBC would barely have any content.

Yes, but I think "what he was," and remains, to the Murdochs is a good or bad investment.

In 2016, he looked a good buy for them, and probably he has been, but now the next election is approaching, they need to consider their position for the next four years.

It's like TV networks deciding whether or not to renew a reality show that was once an unexpected hit, but has now lost its shine (Duck Dynasty, perhaps), which almost seems a logical culmination of the last few years.

They got their tax cuts, their judges, purged tons of liberal-leaning civic workers from service and dismantled a lot of departments. They don’t really need Trump’s cover anymore and he keeps becoming a bigger and bigger liability.

He stated his intent early on. To try to anger people.
It'd be better off on Twitter, there you can piss off people and have an echo chamber at the same time.

A lot of things make me angry these days, but some random emotionally-deranged troll isn't one of them. I can't even muster pity for them anymore.
When society's imploding mid-pandemic a painfully obvious and thoroughly unoriginal troll on the internets is the very least of my worries. The only annoyance it gets out of me is because it's so tedious.

Conservatives are just an endless loop cassette of the exact same talking points over and over again or just all out really stupid abuse (which is also highly repetative -- libtard or snowflake with a random smattering of expletives). Not much for independent thought or original thinking.

But let's hope they all get to vote

This is very worrying.

Experts worry that poll worker shortages, long lines and other delays in processing requests for absentee ballots will only get worse in November, when there will be more voters. Since March, voting advocates have been calling on states to prepare for an election like no other, and quickly implement plans that accommodate a surge in voters casting their ballots by mail for the first time as well as robust turnout at the polls.

One estimate places the cost of upgrading vote-by-mail systems across the country at $4bn.

“We’re just going to have a catastrophe in November,” said Michael McDonald, a professor at the University of Florida who studies elections. “We’ve already passed the point of catastrophic failure. It doesn’t get any better if we have two to three times the number of people who are trying to vote in these polling locations.”

Biden's campaign needs to put out more as with Biden talking more. There's still the perception that Biden can't talk and Dump will out-debate him. This from otherwise intelligent people. They think tCNN is manipulating the clips to make Biden look coherent. And these are not Fox viewers. It's scary. And Dump's people are stressing in pushing the notion that he's actually sharp. They're probably responsible for all of it.
Even if Biden hesitated or flubbed, he'd have to do better unscripted than Dump with his word salad.
