The sequel will probably be better.

I don't blame Biden for the state of the economy, but this measure that is basically "everything including rich assholes and their over valued and inflated stock bull shit", is not a good measure. Wealth inequality is ridiculously worse and who cares if "per capital every person is richer" when everything costs 25-50% more and houses and cars are disgustingly overpriced.

Its certainly not going to swing my vote to whomever the GOP runs, but even as someone who is "fairly well off", the economic my is doing pretty shitty for regular people.

Also just how shitty quality a LOT of food has gotten in stores.

I don't "Blame Biden" for it.

I agree. The USA needs a lot more measures to reduce wealth inequality. The economy is terrible for the bottom quartile. ...but on every real policy issue, Trump is very obviously worse. More tax cuts for rich people are certainly not going to help. Biden did some good things and really just needs to go a lot further.

Tragically, most Americans are way too brain washed to ever vote for a candidate who would actually stand up to Wall Street. Our choices are between a fascist and corporate liberal. I'd love to see someone like Warren or AOC get in there but they have no chance right now.

Trump supporters are now sending threatening letters to get people to vote for him

“We see you haven’t voted yet. Your voting record is public,” a recent mailer to Texas Republicans says. “Your neighbors are watching and will know if you miss this critical runoff election. We will notify President Trump if you don’t vote. You can’t afford to have that on your record.”
The mailer, which says it was sent by “The America First Conservatives Election Department,” showed up to voters leading up to the state’s May 28 primary election. Trump is likely to win the primary regardless – his opponents have all dropped out of the primary – but the mailer still strikes an ominous tone.
Fuck these greasy single-cell asshole amoebas in the ear. Deep and hard.

Trump thought he'd find support among the libertarians. Boy did he think wrong!
What I find most surprising is that that the libertarian party would allow a major party candidate to speak at their convention. Historically the party was run by purists who wouldn't have done such a thing. The libertarian party has always been a weirdo magnet but the party leadership used to try really hard to appear respectable. Trump sharply divided libertarians between the hippies and purists who despise him and the weird fascists who think he's awesome. This never had any chance of going well.

Realistically, what else can they do? They've stated they'll never NEVER vote for Biden. RFK is off his nut. That leaves ... oh shit.
Is RFK much more off his nut than Trump himself? At least I'm less sure RFK wants to be a dictator...

Trump is far more conniving and, um - I was going to say competent, but let's go with able - than RFK, Jr. is. And though RFK thinks he's trying to doing good things, Trump doesn't give a shit about any of that.

The best part of that was watching his narcissistic collapse in real time. Who would have thought the libertarian wackos would have provided a beautiful moment of zen?

I agree with what you're saying. Trump isn't smarter, but is more able due to his cult of personality. I think RFK probably has much stronger moral constraints but that's not saying much.

It just occurred to me that Trump will almost certainly start shitting on libertarians every chance he gets now and that actually might alienate some of his base who still thinks of themselves as "libertarians." This could turn into quite a show. A wise man would act like this never happened and move on, but Trump is not wise or restrained.

On that morning's Morning Joe show they invited John Leguizamo, a Bronx native, on as a guest. He was told that Trump was planning a rally in his old home town.

John Leguizamo's opinion

I love that guy :devilish:
