That's a gen 8 cpu, should have it built inI
Yeah, it said that about my system (bought last year) too. Coffee Lake CPU i7 8700k 4.7GHz.
So I went into my BIOS, and I saw that TPM can be enabled, but it also said "no security device found" which means I need the module. Fortunately my custom PC comes with lifetime tech support, so I just have to touch base with the guy who built it.
All I want to know is that I'll be able to run it at some point, and it looks like I will. The TPM module for my mobo is cheap, too, but Newegg is sold out of it "due to high demand" (gee, I wonder why?).
Did your BIOS not have the page for it?
Proper bios support is another hurdle...
