I bought an Alexa (series 3) for £22, they retail at £55 - I love it. Genuinely didn't find a need for it originally, but the speaker is great, so I used it to stream the radio and music on Spotify.

Also picked up x2 2 year web hosting packages - 55% recurring on one of them and a single discount of 77% (Bargain!)

Looks to me like a lot of retailers just moved Black Friday to Black Thursday depriving their employees of yet another day off. Which is why I won't go out on either day. That sucks for people who have to work in retail.

Well, my Wacom tablet decided to die just as the sales were underway, so I thought I'd try a Huion that was bigger and far cheaper. While I was dithering around checking reviews and picking out the one I wanted, it landed in a lightning deal on Amazon so I got an unintentional bargain. At some point I'll try and repair the Wacom, see if I can squeeze a little more use out of it. Mr Muliaina got himself an XP-Pen tabby outside of the sales but it was even cheaper and works on Linux, so I'll be interested to see how they both do.

Also got Paintstorm Studio half price because Mr Muliaina noticed it on sale. Clip Studio Paint is also half price, but they discount it several times a year so I'll try and show some self-restraint and get that later

I actually ordered it on Monday, and it won't arrive till the 2nd week of December, but a new desktop PC. The one that I'm using now is ten years old, so it was time for an upgrade. It's an AMD Ryzen 7 3800X system that I custom-configured at CyberpowerPC's site.

Good luck with that one, mate - I've upgrated my own computer exactly using the same CPU end of August do it yourself style. It took me over one month to get it work reliable, because at the beginning my system just crashed all 5-15 minutes and the OS did not matter, Windows, Linux, always the same. I've returned the mainboard twice, switched in between the mainboard manufacturer, got new DDR RAM and a new PSU in the process as well. It was really painful, AMD's QA is nearly non existant.

I can only warn from my own experience to use MSI mainboards with that CPU. MSI mainboards with this CPU just suck.

The only shoppingI did yesterday was for Ziggy. Chews and a few new toys. He goes through both those type of items so fast, lol.
Add I upgraded to a new phone on Monday, but that was a matter of necessity, not a splurge.
