This was a hairy night because early on Dems lost some close races, particularly in Florida, that hurt their chances for taking the House in live projections; but they made up for those losses with some unexpected wins as the night proceeded.

In Florida something is really, really hinky. Amendment 4 has passed easily. That restores voting rights to felons that have served their time. Yet Gillum and Nelson (Gov and Senate) are ever-so-slightly behind with only a heavily Dem leaning area left to count (it’s so close the biggest FL election expert is projecting recounts).

I want to meet the voters that agreed to restore voting rights but didn’t vote for Gillum or Nelson.

Something is seriously wrong there.

ABC News hasn't projected the House results yet. So far, they're saying Dems have 154 (+14) out of the 218 seats they need to control the House.

Edit: ABC finally called it. Dems take the House! *does happy dance*
