First, I won't squabble about calling it a Walkman.

Second, I'd like to have something like this but, I disposed of my once extensive tape collection years ago. What the hell would I play on it? Maybe I could get a setup like this, as well?

Returning to an analog life sounds like too much work...

The ones I would have loved to listen to, are the ones I made myself while listening to the radio while cursing the announcers for cutting in. You know, just to see what I was into in those days

I still have most of my old tapes, granted, I have owned maybe a dozen store tapes and a dozen mix tapes in my life.

At this point I have probably owned more vinyl records and I only started buying those seriously in the past 5 years or less.

I have hundreds of CDs though.

I would totally get one of those! My local record store also sells tapes, plus I'd make mix tapes from my MP3s to play on it! The USB-C charging is a huge plus, because I remember the Walkman I had as a teen would go through a set of AA batteries pretty much every day!
