I need advice off you lot.
My kids keep finding Christmas presents everywhere I hide them. Someone suggested I put them up in the attic. I tried that last night, but their constant crying and whining kept me awake. All the “I don’t like it up here”, “I’m afraid of the dark” and “I don’t like spiders” really got on my nerves.
Any other suggestions?

That’s awesomesauce. Try renting a closet sized storage space, they’ll go nuts when they find nothing in the house.

Put up the Christmas tree and lay the presents wrapped under it.
Then they know where they are, and they can't touch them in plane sight, I guess.
That is at least what we did at home.
It was always nice to see the pile growing towards Christmas when everybody in the household started contributing their gifts.

Then put post-its on really stupid stuff that they would never want to admit they owned and "hide" the items for them to find.

We did that too. Only difference was that we coordinated wrapping paper. We knew who the presents were from, but not who for. It was great fun to watch the pile of presents grow for the last week. And then on xmas eve, we’d sneak in and label the presents who for.
