You're not from around here, are ya.i just noticed something interesting on this forum. There are 240,960 messages in total, and 115,000 of them are in the topic "Politics, Religion and Society", almost half.
So what does this mean ? Sure we're in an election year again, but still, this trend is since 2022.
Clearly intelligent topics about SL or other 3d worlds are dead here. Make it simple and just rebrand the whole forum : "Political War" or something like that.
I bet many people already left this forum because they're tired of reading this. I'm surprised the forum owners let this go on.
You know SL had the same problem in 2020, and they BANNED all political activism then, because they understood it's bad for business : political opinions always make 50% of people angry who then don't bother to respond and just leave.
By the way not only SL banns political themes, all multiplayer games do that.
Most of us - perhaps nearly all of us - were drawn to VVO, and SLU before it, by the SL discussions. Then we discovered the off-topic area and got drawn in. The PR&S subforum has essentially become our town square. Many of us are still active in SL and still post to those subfourms, while many of us have long ago hung up our SL hats and just come to the town square to hang out.yes but look at the number of messages. The political topic dwarfs all other by far.
So, zero-to-flounce in, what, 15 days? I've seen faster.so tell your leader to rebrand the forum. Anyway i'm out of here, i'll look elsewhere for people interested in 3D worlds.
you can continue your war here, sorry for the interruption![]()

Well, I came for the pie. Most of us - perhaps nearly all of us - were drawn to VVO, and SLU before it, by the SL discussions.

DailyMail.com has unearthed a decades-old picture that isn't going to help the GOP vice-presidential candidate dispel that characterization.
It was taken in jest – and has a real meaning behind it – but, still, it is not a good look considering the other claims leveled at Donald Trump's pick for his Number Two.
In the photograph, Vance, then 18, is seen in a men's bathroom looking on as three girls pretend to use the urinals.
The picture appeared in the 2003 yearbook of Middletown High School in Ohio when Vance – then known as JD Hamel – was in his senior year.
No explanation was given in the yearbook itself as to why the three girls were in the bathroom, nor why they should be pictured with Vance.
But now, one of the three has explained to DailyMail.com the meaning behind the surprising shot.
It was to show the power of girls in that year's student government, one of the women who asked that her name not be used, said.
'Usually it was all male officers, and we were an even split, and so it was sort of the opposite.'
The picture showed the four top student council officers – president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer.
Ironically Vance was vice-president, the position he is now seeking in federal government.
Donald Trump today claimed that Kamala Harris "broke the economy, broke the border, and broke the world."
Wow. Kamala Harris: Destroyer of Worlds. Or at least one, so far.
Ah. Mahavidya Kamala. Not a destroyer, but a provider of prosperity. But nice reply.
She will become the destroyer of at least ONE world!Ah. Mahavidya Kamala. Not a destroyer, but a provider of prosperity. But nice reply.
Kamala, you go girl!Donald Trump today claimed that Kamala Harris "broke the economy, broke the border, and broke the world."
