It seems that Conservatives in the US just kind of suck at boycotts. There are are at least 3 calls a year to boycott Starbucks, and the only issue that I can see hurting the bottom line is if Schultz goes ahead with his vanity run and Liberals kill it. The spice retailer Penzi's went full anti-Trump in 2016, and their Facebook page is a beautiful example of a company taking a stand and explaining it in well reasoned posts, which are full of replies threatening their doom. They are still going strong (and, as they have noted, came to their decision as life-long Republicans). They tend to either threaten things they don't buy anyway, or not actually carry through on their threats. Or, in this case, make a stupid snap decision about a major corporation that they ends up hurting them but not doing anything to the company they are targeting with their gesture.
