The bold part I agree with. If you are saying the ratings have no impact on sales, that's true in some cases but not most. If you are saying that customer support has no impact on sales, I'm sorry, you're dead wrong.

I'm saying the difference of half of a star (what I estimate is the only difference between slaving over support vs angry ratings from total lack of support) has no impact on sales.

I want SL to impliment VRC's blocking. If you block someone, they stop existing entirely for you, and you stop existing entirely for them. You can still opt for a traditional one-way block, if you want, and the other would never know you did it... but for those special people you wish could just stop existing and not see you at all either... it's useful.

Ah! I see what you are saying now. Key word being half. I agree. I'm one that discards any implications of half or even quarter stars. I don't even need to see them because I'm just going to round down anyway.

ratings don’t do a single thing for your sales. People have to dig through ALL results to find stuff anyway.

3, 4, 5 stars? Who cares, people only make sure it's not 1 or 2.

Personally I always find customer support one of the nicer things about being a merchant.

So a while back in the Firestorm Help group someone was asking for help but didn't get a response and got buried in another conversation.

I messaged to see what they needed help with. After a bit they were not looking for Firestorm Help but were looking for someone for a fetish RP. I told them ok, but being generally nice, I suggested some better groups to search and said bye.

So a bit later, I decided to see if they ever found someone, they said no, then begged me again to do it for them. So why the hell not, it wasn't even an "in person" thing. I asked what it involved, they posted a little generic script, that was also somewhat "iffy" English".

I decided to "spice things up" with the script but they didn't like that and wanted the script. So I just, copy and pasted the bits.

They seemed satisfied, then they had to go.

And that was the last I ever heard of it.

So yeah, Weird AF.

Predictive text /autocorrect seems to be prone to product placement. I've seen all sorts of brand names come up instead of words I mean to type. That's why I use third-party keyboards that allow me to stop that nonsense.
The predictive text devil still gets me if I don't remember to proofread, though.
