The Ben from Ben&Jerrys has started a new nonprofit venture called "Ben’s Best Blnz", which will offer a nonprofit cannabis line.

“The War on Drugs (first so named by President Richard Nixon) has targeted lower income Black and Brown people thru over policing, discriminatory prosecution, and discriminatory sentencing,” the website states. “That’s why despite using pot at the same rate, Black people are 4 times more likely to be arrested than Whites.”

Ben’s Best Blnz, or B3, says it licenses its formulas, packaging, trademarks, and marketing materials to for-profit businesses that pay a royalty. After expenses are deducted, the royalties are donated to the cause.

The cannabis is grown in soil using no nonorganic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides, the website states.

The B3 products, including pre-rolled joints with lower levels of the psychoactive compound THC, are expected to be available in cannabis shops in Vermont next month.

Imgur.com has introduced today new Terms of Services, which will be effective May 15, 2023. Basically Imgur will forbit uploading of pornographic data and delete old one as well.

Imgur was de facto THE image host for many subreddits, also porno subreddits. Due to that announcement the mood in such subreddits is catastrophic right now, and they are in search of a new image host.

Not sure it's such a bad idea. As long as there are a few places reserved maybe for those with reduced mobility.

There are a many streets and areas (touristy) here that have had parking places replaced with biking lanes or benches for people, etc. and the merchants were really angry saying they would lose customers since there was no where to park... but their sales went up because local residents and cyclists actually started to shop there again.

I realize there may be different circumstances between here and there, but I'm all for rethinking the way we use our public spaces.

A lot of city centers here have car free zones. I have no problem with that at all.
But this 50 euro parking ticket is just catering the rich IMHO, who would not even care to use 200 euro bills to light their cigarettes so to speak.
Making extra money for the city and not solving any problem.
