I've waded through enough of your left-wing-nut-job paranoid conspiracy ravings, but before I put you back on mute, I had to laugh at this one in particular.

The party system isn't outlined in our constitution; there are no specific constituent rights associated with picking candidates to run for office. The process has become more "democratic" over the decades, but none of that is enshrined in law or actually required. So even if your version of how Biden was nominated were true, it's not the great scandal you appear to think it is. A party is a organized and run by the party machinery (big duh) and Bernie Sanders has gone out of his way to piss off and exploit that same party machinery without actually claiming to belong to it. It's a wonder they put up with him at all and didn't boot his ass out of the hall.

Part of my disillusionment with Sanders (but by no means all), came from observing the batshit-crazy self-absorbed Bernie Boys, of which you're a prime example. It's not Sanders' fault he was a magnet for this element, but it did at times make me question my own support for Sanders given the company I was keeping.

I won't directly reply to Bebo, because that seems like a dick move after somebody mutes you. I will say, however, that when I said it takes bravery to advocate for feudalism in America in 2020, I was being sarcastic. I didn't think she would actually go for it! LOL I won't even bother explaining why her stance is wrong, because the founding fathers already did it, in the federalist papers.

Bebo's stance is not uncommon among democratic party leadership, by the way, and this is the germ of Trump's big lie. The republicans have their problems, but their primaries are a million times more democratic than ours. Nobody in republican party leadership wanted Trump or the Q senators, but they accepted the unfiltered will of the constituents. Democratic party leadership does not do that, which is what gives Trump's big lie enough credibility to snowball into half the country still supporting him. So if you want power, the only way to get it is to throw our current democratic party leadership out, because they will continue to cede ground to the republicans, year after year, until we live in a theocracy, with no social services, abortions are banned, doctors will refuse to see you if you aren't rich and white, and even thinking about unions will get you jailed. That is the future Hillary supporters want.

You know, the thing that really bugs me is how the people who push these Hillary conspiracy theories don't seem to care that if she were a man she would be President now. But they genuinely believe they haven't a sexist bone in their body.

The real problem (apart from the sexism and hypocrisy) is that the US hasn't adopted a Transferrable Vote system, which would make the primaries irrelevant.

Some people think that. I voted for her with my teeth clenched in the general election because she was so much better than Trump. On the other hand, in the unlikely event that in the next general election, Bernie Sanders is running against Marjorie Taylor Greene I'll be voting for Bernie, not Marjorie just because she's a woman.

So what flavor Kool-Aid have you been drinking in this heat?

What I see here in Georgia is steady progress taking ground from the Republicans, until we flipped the state-wide offices in 2020. I see progressives booting more conservative Democrats in some places. Not everywhere, but political change is a slow process. The fact that Sanders, Warren, and Buttigieg won a combined 36.5% of primary votes is progress, even if you can't see it.
