I really, really wish I could enjoy watching cars going around in circles.... [well, not a big fan of most sports anyway] But I certainly am becoming a fan of how they are handling this.

Kansas State football players say they will boycott team activities if a policy isn't created to expel a student who posted a racist George Floyd tweet.

“We are demanding that Kansas State University put a policy in place that allows a student to be dismissed for displaying openly racist, threatening or disrespectful actions toward a student or groups of students,” the players said in the letter they posted. “We have resolved that we cannot play, practice or meet until these demands are heard and actions taken. We love Kansas State, but we must stand together and protect all students moving forward.”

On Thursday, one month after Floyd, a Black man, died after a white Minneapolis police officer pressed his knee on his neck for nearly eight minutes, student Jaden McNeil tweeted, “Congratulations to George Floyd on being drug free for an entire month!”

I know, but Klopp has always been famous in Germany for showing a very entertaining array of different expressions during a game, like not many coaches do.

An older gentleman, yes there are still people older than me, told me yesterday that he’d gotten used to not having sports in his life.. He’s rediscovered a love for woodworking, cleaned out his shop, and spends most of his former sports watching time finding, cleaning, planing, carving, staining, and finishing wood. The projects are becoming larger and more complex and he’s having a great time with it.
