Plan on watching it next week. I liked the actors who played them on Doom Patrol, but Warner's dysfunction killed that spin-off. I heard a snippet of Gaiman talking about how they had to change the origin story since Sandman hasn't gotten to where they show up yet but he wanted the Endless that appear to cross over series.

I am watching STD season 5 right now, and oh boy it sucks! It sucks golf balls through a garden hose...

The Breen, which were enigmatic and mysterious villains in STD, have been reduced to being laughing stocks with the appeal of tin cans. And the rest is not better...

The finale will for sure not be better than episode 9 right now. I am glad when this shit show will finally come to an end.

I was not expecting it, but I'm 2 episodes in on Dead Boy Detectives, and having a ball. I won't spoil anything, but I do love all of the actors in the show so far, and the humor actually is sometimes laugh-out funny.

I didn't realize how much I needed foul mouthed sprites in my entertainment. They're in the second episode, but I'm hoping they stick around and toss off insults at the other characters from time to time.
I really enjoyed the show, and will probably binge through it again soon. The villain(s) are great, the side characters are fun. I don't want to ruin anything other than that I really enjoyed watching Edwin barely 'enduring' other people and their expectations.

I can explain...

OG Kirk's identity is corrupted by exposure to both regular and reversed polarity tachyons. ........
See? It's all so simple. ;)
I see you have a Doctorate in Starfleet technobabble, and in fact, that made sense to me as a Star Trek fan. Maybe I've played too much STO.....naaaah.

That's unfortunate. I was hoping, like Picard, they would deliver a stronger final season. As with the idiots overseeing the Sony Spiderman Universe responsible for Morbius and Madame Web... careers should end and heads should roll. There's no excuse for content with this kind of production value being -so- bad.

I love watching how Doug Jones animates Saru, I love that they took risks with diversity/inclusion and representation but the writing, directing and a lot of the acting (especially with Burnham) felt way below par.

They should have kept Prodigy and done more with Lower Decks / Strange New Worlds and just let this branch fizzle quietly.

Gonna watch it this weekend and then catch the finale. Not expecting much because how do you top launching into the future, salvaging Starfleet, and instantly learning to communicate with extragalactic beings who are unwittingly destroying vast swaths of life? golf balls through a garden hose, however, is most hilarious and shall be retained for future expressions.

Well Saru will become ambassador to Nivar, or something, so will leave the Discovery. Burnham will get a new first officer named Rayner, a battle hardened no-nonsense Kellerun instead. She's giving him a chance at redemption, since he before was captain to give back what she received, something like that... in short the typical tough guy with soft heart opening up during the season.

And Saru with T'rina gets enough screen time for them to plan their wedding, and many hugs in between.

Just watched Atlas and I enjoyed It. Laughed out loud a couple of times. Yes, it’s a bit silly, but not more so than any other popcorn action flick.

Its a simple story and you know where it’s going so probably best not to look at the trailer first. Just grab a snack and watch.

Oh right, I forgot that got released at some point recently. I saw it . . . hmm. I think I saw it about six or so months ago. Part of the sneak preview was that I couldn't say anything about it at the time, except to them.

It passed the time well enough. Part of the interestingness of watching it might have been the part wherein I watched it with about 65 to 85% of the CGI hadn't been completed yet. Like, if there was a space scene, I'd see drawings instead of whatever would normally be there. Sometimes CGI.

I'll have to catch it again, now that it has been released, to see what I might actually think of it with special effects added in. Also to see if they actually changed the story any.

I went in with very low expectations but rather enjoyed Atlas despite them. Normally I tend to agree with the critics rating on RottenTomatoes, but they seemed a bit unnecessarily harsh on this title. I enjoyed it much more than Rebel Moon...

"Golf balls through a garden hose" is actually a movie quote, but not from a sci fi flick, instead Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket."

Well, here's it in real life action.

Who hasn’t seen The Witcher yet? Me! Me!

I’ve been binging it all week and am now on to season 3. The first season was a bit confusing, but I’m liking it. What’s with Jadkier’s hair? It’s all I can see when he’s in a scene.

Weird hair and animals being hurt are two things I have difficulty with in films. Luckily, apart from looking at his brown head mop, it’s only monsters being killed in Witcher. Except for
Roach 😔

Another weird one for me. I liked the 2-3 seasons of The Witcher just fine. 3rd season in particular (the story gets kinda blurry in my head for the first two seasons).

Reviews panned 'Witcher: Blood Origins" but I think this might be another case of 'strong female leading character(s) = BOO!' affecting the ratings. I enjoyed it far more than others did, whatever the reason though.

Yeah, more and more I try to stay away from reviews now, and just go with my gut when choosing what to watch. To much hyperbole. It’s the most amazin thing you’ll ever see! (Then I’m disappointed) or it’s the worst movie of all time because spaceships (or whatever) would never behave that way, or in the books, her nostrils were bigger… Also, of course, anything with a female lead.

I‘m looking forward to Blood Origins.

Go check out the cast of the new movie about Reagan.

Dennis Quaid, Jon Voight, Kevin Sorbo… ha ha
I think that should be Kevin Dillon.

That’s weird, I see him here as “Pastor”.

"Pastor." lol - Doesn't even get a last name.

On Sorbo's IMDB page, it doesn't even list Reagan as one of his 23 (!) upcoming projects. And he's playing a pastor in another thing.

Anyway, all done on the Sorbo film event chat...
