I've eaten at both and it's like "yep, those are pancakes." think the main diff is IHOP has more types of stuff to pour on your pancakes that look kinda off due to people mainly going for regular syrup and the othersbnot being refreshed often. Also maybe dennys has more dinner and lunch options where as IHOP stays focused more on breakfast.

We haven't been to an IHOP in years, so maybe things have changed there since then, but we've always preferred Denny's for having a wider variety of higher quality food, though that's really not saying much. Our favorite go-to diner is Black Bear Diner.

It usually around when they get up, I bet, so they probably would want a breakfast meal, rather than say linguine with clam sauce.

I had a burger once at IHOP that I found out just in time wasn't fully cooked. I came within a bite of having a bad experience there myself.
