I wonder if that stuff, can't remember the name of it, that you spread on glasses to prevent fogging might help? Some kind of wax maybe? I dunno... I've only had glasses for a few years, I don't know all the ins and outs.
Just about anything that breaks surface tension will do. Plain old soap can help. When I used to go snorkeling we'd just spit on the inside of the facemask and smear it around.

Go to your local motorcycle shop and get some of the spray riders use on the inside of goggles and visors - I don't know what they call it over there, but here in the UK it's "Visor Antifog" (or at least it used to be, it's a long time since I rode my Bonneville...)

Thank you. I will give these methods a try.

Yup. Been using a very very thin film of dish soap (dawn or store brand). Plain dish soap has less 'stuff and things' that may over the long term screw up various glass lens coatings or plastic safety goggle lenses (that yellowish orangish tent for example)
Just apply a tiny drop. Smear evenly. Let dry. Then test. Less is actually better as long as it works. And... is cheap b/c you might wanna be washing glasses every time you return from COVIDland.

Not the actual bike, but the same year and model - 1971 T120RV (crossover year - 650cc engine with 5-speed gearbox from the 750cc). Second-hand when I got it, which was the 1980's. I used to commute 60 miles a day into the middle of Birmingham UK on it, it's a great way to learn defensive driving

Oops - how do I post a picture here ? I've forgotten...

I have to wear both a mask and visor and also had a lot of trouble, especially in the summer with hot humid weather, with fog. Strangely, everyone around me seemed fine. Infuriating... Anyhow, thanks for the tips everyone.

Missed this: what I usually do for one of my own pictures is upload it to an imaging site, like say the following one: Postimages — free image hosting / image upload then put the direct link to it here by clicking on the image icon and copy/pasting it.

I wear contacts, thankfully, so I don't have to deal with fogging. But wouldn't applying a layer of soap to the lens surface affect its clarity and increase the "halo effect" around light sources?

Is a little bit of halo. So experiment with the least amount of soap possible. Is compare and contrast .. a little bit of light halos, v/s fogged over glasses.

Especially since .. you don't want to touch face. While taking off glasses and having to wipe them clear, is probably safe, I structure the 'new' habits to do everything to minimize cross-contamination.

Glasses, even the fake plastic lens ones can provide a some protection.

It only seems a paranoid, but I look at things as trying to constantly roll a saving roll. Every thing is a modifier. Just visualize having to walk down a grocery store aisle, one that 5 - 20 mins prior some pro-virus anti-masker has been coughing and sputtering a nice aerosol cloud into the air. After all, just because a store has a sign saying wear a mask and don't come in if you are evidencing the signs of a fever, means that those assholes will give a shit (or can read the big words on the sign).

You want to have a 'windshield' in front of your corneas, and not need to take them off to clear them.

'Winter is Coming' - So that will mean the necessary indoor places are more people and more recirculating dry air. With the more dry air - Stuff stays suspended longer, and eye mucus to trap and flush it away is thinner. So imperfect Windshield is a good thing.
