While I truly feel for the folks in Alabama who fell victim to the tornadoes, this tweet by Trump clearly illustrates that he reserves "preferential" FEMA treatment for his friends and those who support him. Meanwhile, places like Puerto Rico and California are basically told to get fucked, even going to far as to personally respond to hurricane victims by tossing them paper towels and telling California wildfire victims he was going to withhold FEMA funding because of "forrest" mismanagement!

Honestly, I think he'd be happier outsed from the White House, so that he can play 'what if' all day, and bla,me others for the imagined victories that they're now denying him. Safely away from any danger of demonstrating how incapable he is of accomplishing them while in power.

He'll cheer on insurrectionist sentiments, further divide the country, laud the violent actions against the non-right-wing and laugh like the troll he is, until an overdose of hambders and covfefe clogs his remaining arteries.
Yes, everyone other than his voters would be happier if he had not won. I would not be surprised if he would have led the pack in not wanting him to win.

The problem is he is in the WH now. It may seem paradoxical but his personality will not let him admit defeat, even if he would like to.

He keeps reminding me of a sf book I read once where the planet's ruler was picked by a computer as the person that least wanted the job. The most miserable sod on the planet was reelected to the job.

Well, the latter caused all the twitterverse to learn the Finnish word for raking. :)

Wow, the Democrats sent out letters to 81 people, not 60 as expected - and there are some interesting names on the list:

House Judiciary Committee releases target list of Donald Trump associates, and it’s even more massive than we thought

The House Judiciary Committee has actually hit up eighty-one people and entities today. To be clear, these people are not necessarily being accused of crimes; it’s merely being asserted that they have evidence that may incriminate Donald Trump and/or others in crimes. Some of the names are to be expected: Donald Trump Jr, Eric Trump, Jared Kushner, Brad Parscale, Felix Sater, Jeff Sessions, Reince Priebus, Sean Spicer, Randy Credico, Matthew Calamari.

Other names included are more fascinating. For instance, Hope Hicks has disappeared from the Trump-Russia discussion for several months, but she was always going to be a part of this, and sure enough she’s on the list. So are Julian Assange and WikiLeaks. Donald Trump’s personal defense attorney Jay Sekulow is on the list, which suggests that the House Judiciary Committee plans to assert that Sekulow voided attorney client privilege when he allegedly instructed Michael Cohen to lie to Congress.

An interesting aside is the district for Jerrold Nadler, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, includes the west side of Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn. He's had that seat for 27 years. He probably knows Donald Trump quite well. As far as I can tell, Trump Tower misses being in his district by two blocks.

Trump lashes out after vast probe launched into his tax and financial affairs

Since we all can guess why Trump gets nuttier than usual when any discussion of his finances comes into play, I'll instead post what Sarah Huckabee Sanders had to say about it all. Wow, just wow. How mighty has fallen the office of Press Secretary, along with every other office in this insane administration. She's as dangerous as they come, though; A true propaganda artist. What's next; Democrats eat babies for lunch?

“Chairman Nadler and his fellow Democrats have embarked on this fishing expedition because they are terrified that their two-year false narrative of ‘Russia collusion’ is crumbling,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement on Monday night.

“Their intimidation and abuse of American citizens is shameful,” she added. “Democrats are harassing the president to distract from their radical agenda of making America a socialist country, killing babies after they’re born, and pushing a ‘green new deal’ that would destroy jobs and bankrupt America.

She forgot to mention that the Democrats want to prise hamburgers from Americans' cold dead hands.

(I mean the hands of cold dead Americans, of course. Not that Americans in general have cold hands... or so am I am told.. hell, you know what I mean)

Trump's sycophancy with Kim Jong Un might lead in the future to security issues and increased tensions in the Middle East - in Iran. There's an interview in "Der Spiegel" with Foad Izadi, a lecturer for North American studies at the University of Teheran, whom himself studied in America. (Keep in mind the following is a summary of the interview, so not my words, thank you).

Izadi argues, that the treatment of North Korea by the Americans caused deep resentments in Iran at last. The reason why is that there have been a lot of concessions towards North Korea to support their economy, if they are willing to abandon their nuclear weapons program, before they even started negotiating at all. Iran on the other hand in the past had to meet a lot of conditions, before America was even willing to sit at the same table.

He argues that it was promised to Iran, that they can start selling their oil again if they are stopping the weapons program - so they stopped it, and nothing happened. On paper it was lifted, but In realit this is impossible, because due to the American sanctions no bank is going to make the necessary money transactions. So Iran feels mistreated and wounded.

This lead to a darkening of the mood in the country. Many Iranians are now more then ever convinced that they cannot trust the West, America and Europeans alike.

So in short he fears that at the next presidential election the people are quite likely going to elect a hardliner as president again, because in the end all of this plays into the hands of the extremists. When Ahmadinedschad was elected, he had a few hundred of centrifugues; at the end of his presidency there were 19000. Therefore many are more convinced than ever that in order to be treated with respectfulness by the West, you've first got to have a far progressed nuclear weapons program, as North Korea clearly showcases.

So to sum it up Trump's obsession with dictators might lead to getting a real hardliner as next Iranian president, to a renaissance of the Iranian nuclear weapons program in the end, and therefore a heavy destabilization of the whole region, because Iran is more than ever convinced that you've got to have a nuclear bomb first, before you are getting treated seriously by the Americans&rest of the Western world.

One of many unfortunate outcomes, not just because Trump is kissing the ass of despots... but because his administration has -gutted- our state department, the people responsible for making sure, you know... America is actually protecting its interests overseas through diplomacy.

Agent Orange is doing the presidential equivalent of parking a rolls royce in an air-tight garage so he can listen to the motor roar in neutral as he stomps on the gas pedal making 'Vroom Vroom' sounds with his prolapsed face hole.

PRESIDENT TRUMP, DELETE YOUR BRAIN.
I was wondering why I looked at twitter this morning and saw Tim Apple until I found the article. Along with tweets about (other name) (other company). Does he REALLY think other people all have companies named after them?

His brain is addled by Adderall and age. Thus, floating around in his brain is Tim (blank) of Apple, so he smears them together to maintain fluid speech. Unless his brain accidentally calls a halt to the proceedings, allowing him to say "Tim....(long pause) Cook of Apple" he -- never admitting a mistake -- proceeds with his nomenclature cock-ups.
