It's worse than that. We have 7.8 times as many cases relative to population vs the world as a whole. But to be fair, Africa has a very low case rate so far. Developing countries don't travel as much or get as many travelers, so they are still getting started with their epidemic. I expect it to get much worse over there.So... just for numbers - the US has 5% of the world's pop and 1/5 the cases... that is some seriously screwed up math.
