DC Police Responding To Reports Of Irate Old Man Holding 328,000,000 People Hostage For Money – The Out And Abouter

In a still developing story, District of Columbia police officers are responding to multiple reports of an active asshole operating in the vicinity of the White House. Though the situation remains fluid, early accounts indicate that the man – described as being approximately six feet tall, wearing a seven foot tie, and resembling a circumcised carrot – has somehow managed to gain access to the Oval Office. From there he is threatening to hold the entire American population hostage until he gets what he wants.

“The individual, who is insisting on being referred to as “The President,” is demanding $5.6 billion in unmarked bills be delivered to the Mexican border by midnight tonight, as well as an interview with Sean Hannity,” a spokesperson for Washington’s Metropolitan Police Department said, addressing a crowd of reporters gathered outside the White House security gates.

More generally, we should make it law that any time they fail to do their job, by passing and signing a budget on time, both the Congress and the White House should go unpaid. On time means Oct 1st, when the fiscal year starts. The reason we have some agencies without funding is they were late passing the budget, and used "continuing resolutions" until now. Those just continue last year's spending levels temporarily. The problem with that is agency programs change every year. So spending the same as last year is for the wrong amounts and projects.

Exactly, I recently got a priority list of issues so arranged my schedule accordingly and .... sure enough, as soon as I started got a completely different priority list. No, it was not an accident, their priorities changed. CRs are no way to run an organisation of more than 1 person.

When Donald Trump railed against the Chinese in a campaign speech in Las Vegas, he turned to a word he just bashed Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) for using: “Motherf**ker.”

Trump presented the speech in spring 2011 shortly before he bowed out of the 2012 presidential election race. He ranted about Washington and China’s exports flooding America. What would he do about China?

“So easy. I’d drop a 25 percent tax on China,” Trump told a packed audience in a video of the speech posted on YouTube (above).

Trump quipped in a high-pitched voice that the message could come softly with someone saying: “We’re gonna tax you 25 percent.”

He added: “And I could say: ‘Listen, you motherfuckers, we’re gonna tax you 25 percent.’”
