Capitol rioter boasted he could access powerful weapons to 'take back' country, prosecutors say
Guy Reffitt, who drove from Texas to Washington, D.C., also said in recorded conversations that he and others were carrying firearms during the siege of the Capitol.www.politico.com
Yeah. I know of one of those cases and the govt person above them said they were innocent. Which is not something he should have done, he should have stayed out of it.I think that my advice to anyone would be talk to lawyers before talking to the FBI, and in the name of sanity, never talk to law enforcement about anything, especially if you know you didn't do anything wrong, without your lawyer present and, for heaven's sake, listen to what they tell you and if they tell you to STFU, then do what they say.
I kinda see the family resemblance there.
Amazing. No one could write this TV series and have it end up being called realistic.
Elon Musk is about my age and is statistically murdering and injuring his factory workers. Also see: Ted Cruz.I think the moth bothersome thing I see is, after being told that young people are less conservative, and once the old guard dies off, things will be better, that its young people who are doing this crap.
I really think we need to get away from this lie that old people are bad and young people are good, because that's patently not the case.
Charlie Kirk (I think the moth bothersome thing I see is, after being told that young people are less conservative, and once the old guard dies off, things will be better, that its young people who are doing this crap.

) is kind of proof of that.
It's not a question of what young people vs old people think. It's a question of what the people are like who are in power.I think the moth bothersome thing I see is, after being told that young people are less conservative, and once the old guard dies off, things will be better, that its young people who are doing this crap.

But, it is at least in the US, a 'truism' that young people are wonderful, progressive, humanitarians, and old people are evil conservative jerks. It's not a question of what young people vs old people think. It's a question of what the people are like who are in power.
And it should not be forgotten that fascism is a young man's game (woman's too). The fascists of the 1920s and 30s started as disaffected young men, demobilised after WW1, gave up on the existing parties and joined the Blackshirts and Nazis.
Hitler was 43 when he became Chancellor of Germany. Mussolini was about the same age when he became Prime Minister of Italy.
