WaPo articles can be read if you are using a pc with chrome and the ublock origin extension. When on the WaPo page, bring up the ublock origin options and click the symbol to the right of Aa. This will disable javascript. Then when the page reloads, most pictures won't show but the text of the article will.
Reader mode on mobile can often do it, too, until they catch wise, I guess. And I'm going to have to do that if I want to read it because Innula's Evernote links are coming up as all black page under the pictures, like it was censored.
