But without the hilarity of balloon animals, buckets of whitewash, squirting flowers, rubber noses, or thrown pies.

I give it 0 of 5 stars.
Makes you want to laugh and puke at the same time.

Okay maybe it's just the news sources Hubman chooses to watch, but I've been thinking, "Where the fuck are Bernie and Biden, or have we cancelled the election?"
Georgia had already started early voting for the primary, then shut that down and delayed it to May 19th. They will be mailing absentee ballots to everyone, so we don't have to vote in person. I expect a lot of the states who hadn't already voted are doing similar things.

*This is my shocked face*
And a decent portion of those supporters, are not democrats. Just like I'm not technically a democrat. But I literally almost either destroy things or want to throw up when I even think about Twitler, so.... I'm obviously not going to vote for him.

I don't much like Biden, but I'll vote for him - same with Sanders, I don't much like him anymore, but if he'd gotten it, I'd have voted for him.

I am still trying to be a Bernie delegate at the national convention. The Oklahoma Democratic central committee will chose. Like what happened to voting? I suspect all of the Oklahoma delegates will be Biden supporters.

Most states give the campaigns input into the delegate selection and the allocation is set by the percentage of the vote each candidate got.

Thank God, that poll showing them neck and neck plunged me into despair. I mean wtf does it take for people to see?
Aside from the fact that a significant percentage of this country is populated by assholes, there's also the problem of people who have become so emotionally invested in being right about Trump that they stonewall any inconvenient facts that challenge their choice. Eating crow is never a pleasant meal.

The election will go to the Dems in November IMHO.
The Corona crisis and even more the gigantic economic recession that inevitably will follow (world wide) will drop the approval ratings for the Donald lower than the White House's deepest basement this summer/fall.
If the Dems can come up with a candidate that is able not to slaver too much in public because of old age, it should be in the pocket.

This is why I never discuss it with my lifelong friends who don’t love trump but voted for him. If the scales do ever fall from their eyes, I very much want them to feel they can say so without hearing “I told you so”. (And yes I have struggled with what is the right thing to do re remaining friends.)

Don't expect this to happen soon, GB still has delusions of national grandeur today...

Most states give the campaigns input into the delegate selection and the allocation is set by the percentage of the vote each candidate got.
Generally it is 85% of delegates divided proportionally among those candidates who polled at least 15% in a given county i.e. "viable candidates". The other 15% are "superdelegates", made up of current and past office-holders and party officials. So if you are a Democrat who is currently in the state legislature, you have a good chance to get a superdelegate seat.

In most states the primary is the polling method. A few states use caucuses. The 15% minimum threshold is why lower-polling candidates tend to get few or no delegates. The process is intentionally set up to weed out the weaker candidates. You also have to have broad appeal, because delegates are awarded county by county, and not by total votes in the state.
