Two more candidates in the race?

I won't bother including the video since she's just a Bernie Bro, but Kim Iversen broke down Biden's big win and concluded he did pretty poorly, not matching HRC's margins in any but a couple of the surprise states. For example, HRC got twice as many delegates as Bernie in Texas in 2016. Biden will split it with Bernie. And California? Even the slam-dunk Biden southern states were more slam-dunk for HRC than they were for Biden.
She is not a Bernie Bro per se, Tulsi is her jam. But she's just anti-establishment.

Fuck I don't remember
He (among others) has made things like MCA or free college seem mainstream —- these have gained significant mainstream respectability, but ten years ago were considered lunatic fringe talk. Running for President does provide a bully pulpit that is hard to match.
This is the kind of mythology around Sanders that frustrates me. Free college was not lunatic fringe before him. It’s a movement that’s gained in momentum since the 70’s. When I was in high school in the 80’s (in a red state) the top 10% of graduating seniors got 2 years free tuition to any state college under promise programs. The movement has continued and it was Obama who expanded on it and included it as part of his platform to mainstream it in his SOTU addresses.

Sanders and Warren both supported it and adopted it into their platforms after Obama and other Dems made it a national issue.

I think part of this misconception in attributing it to Sanders is a personal admission from HRC that Bernie helped move her personally to the left on that issue, but Obama led on it and mainstreamed it.

This is why I ask which issues. Bernie’s platforms largely come from Dems. But he gets all the credit for their hard work.

And if you think Bernie mainstreamed universal healthcare...oy.

Asshattery.
Who are you talking about? I voted for Warren. Those who have said that they are going to vote Biden, haven't yet had the chance to vote. After the Super Tuesday results, it is pretty obvious that she won't still be an option when their time to vote comes, so what are you on about?
We may be on the same side but you don't have to be disrespectful to voters like that.
Are you on the same side? Really? He has stated that he will vote for Trump should Bernie be denied the nomination. Of course he will find "reasons" why Bernie is denied, should Bernie lose the contest against Biden.

No self-respecting Bernie supporter, who, you know, actually supports what Bernie states his vision and policies to be COULD EVER consider voting for Trump. Only fuckwit cultist Bernie Bros make that threat, in which case, YOU certainly won't get what you want, either.

Beware those who claim your goals but have absolutely zero belief in them.

What's going on with vvo in the middle of the night? Flaming stuff with all caps in it. Back to sleep.
Perhaps you should. I checked from the top of page 28 which starts at 947 pm VVO time and I didn't find a single all caps post, unless you mean any with one or two among many other words.

It's funny what upsets people considering what we currently have sitting in the Oval Office. Eyerolls and capital letters certainly are of a high priority in such times. Cursing must make you faint.

She turns 80 later this month.

Those of us old enough to remember the Soviet Union will doubtless recall jokes about "the Kremlin gerontocracy."

I missed that. I have already stated multiple times that I wouldn't vote for Trump, ffs.

As for getting what I want, if Biden is the nominee, that is not going to happen, for the most part, either way.

Again, I am not making a claim Bernie was the only or the first to discuss these things, or he is a lone progressive icon. But he did discuss them a lot, a lot of people heard him, a lot of them thought “hmmmm, not a bad idea” .

Bernie spoke to us independents - in '16. but yeah, that tweet; Warren is practical, can explain exactly how she would do things, and I'm still voting for her because I can. I can't bring myself to vote for either Bernie or Biden in the primaries this go.

Elizabeth Warren has officially dropped out.
I'm sure that will make a lot of people happy. All of the bullshit that was being spread about her which was false AF was a shame. This makes me sad.

I really think she's the one who could have done it. Now I'm not at all confident that Trump won't win again.

The more I think about this, the more pissed off I get. I KNEW Trump was going to be bad news in 2015. I KNEW he was going to win. I KNEW it would be bad. And, in that same way...call it whatever you want...gut feeling...intuition...a sort of insanity...but I KNEW Elizabeth Warren could beat Trump. I started off this year feeling pretty confident in that. I've learned over 54 years, to trust that sort of "instinct". When I do, it never steers me wrong.

Now, it's the complete opposite. This isn't good news. Not for Bernie. Not for Biden. Not for us. No matter what you may think now, I'm telling you, this isn't good news.
