I did that because of the Twitter link, which I considered an unfair and unreasonable comparison. Bernie did not hold elective office in 1972, Biden held elective office in 1974. As I said, the realities of the time affected what he could say. I can understand "why" he said it and "why" he probably felt he "had" to say it. And the "why" matters.
Also, posting “certain people on VV1” followed by a dismissive generalization in a thread without naming them always makes a thread worst.

Ishina is Ishina. She’s obsessive about Sanders, yes, but is the only one I’ve noticed being dismissive to anyone who doesn’t agree with her (see how I did that).
Cristalle and Aeon are also somewhat dismissive, though in different ways.
You don’t have to agree, you could always post about all the things that are amazing about the one you prefer.
What, and have VVO's own Bernie-fanatics with their incessant bearded-tech-bro videos accuse me of being a centrist establishment sell-out for supporting Warren? Even when I've said many times, that I want Bernie as Secretary of Labor. And I've openly said that if Bernie is the nominee, he WILL have my support in the general. But no, that's not good enough for them, they prefer to tear down the other Democrats as "centrists" or "sell outs" or "barely better than Republicans" than anything else. There are only three candidates I have disdain for, outside of Trump, they are: Williamson, Gabbard, Bloomberg, but you will notice I haven't said very much about them.
That’s it. If there was a “moderate” candidate that gave people hope à la Obama, or even Clinton, there would be just as many touting how wonderful they were.
