It looks like Mississippi is going to be a complete blowout in favor of Biden - like a 50-60 point blowout.
It’s almost like blowing off black voters so you can give FOX ad dollars and ratings was a poor strategic choice.

As if Biden has a black agenda worthy of that vote? What's he going to provide? Bernie came with policies that would help millions in the near term. Biden has... band-aids for the messed up ACA, in which Florida still won't take the stupid Medicaid expansion. That helps Florida how? Enjoy watching Trump ads as Trump runs to Biden's left on a host of issues, just like he did to Hillary.

Biden is the perfect candidate for this election cycle. He's just liberal enough for Democrats to shrugh their shoulders and say "Well I guess...", and he's just incompetent and corrupt enough to draw off the undecided and some republican voters who went with W in 2000 and 2004 and Trump in 2016. He's Perfect!

Also, there's an old adage that Republicans fall in line and Democrats fall in love. This time it's switched!

It the infection rate from the Coronavirus doubles every 5 days here as multiple sources indicates is possible, then the only issue that will matter to most people by the time the conventions come around in June is what is going to be done about it.

So far, about 1/3rd of votes in Washington are for people who dropped out. I don't see ranked choice voting as fixing all our problems, but with long early voting windows and vote-by-mail, primary elections could probably use it effectively.

Thank you for the thoughtful response!

You are right, that Biden seems to be taking a slightly harder line towards Israel in the current election cycle, and that's nice, but I just don't believe him. This is the same guy who defended Israel's attack on the Gaza flotilla back in 2010.
And you believe Trump’s statements about...anything, really?

The $38 billion is a more complex story. Obama negotiated to give Netenyahu $38 billion back in 2016, before he left office, while Biden was VP. Trump signed that aid package into law in 2018. So it's a bipartisan fuck off to the Palestinians, and anybody who cares about human rights. The fact that they both had input in that deal tells you something about them. They generally want the same things.
Yes, what Obama negotiated was the memo of understanding I mentioned. Trump wants to exceed the MOU even when Israeli’s were insistent that they didn’t want this.

On one hand, I see Trump helping Netenyahu and his hard liners, and that's terrible. On the other, I see Biden saying he won't, but I know he probably will... so I kinda see the subject of Israel as a wash between the two.
Have you looked into details about Trump’s peace plan? If you haven’t, I think you might change your mind for all the reasons I mentioned and more. Trump majorly broke from standard US practices when it came to Israel, all to its benefit. It’s definitely not a wash.

Biden has been spending years meeting with the families who have lost children and loved ones to gun violence. Meeting with survivors who have had to hide from mass murderers and then step over dead classmates, friends, and fellow worshippers and try heal from that trauma. The entire country is fed up with these NRA trolls.

It’s ridiculous that anyone thinks this plays badly for Biden just because they call the jerk “blue collar.”
