Reading behind the headlines, it stuns me how impervious the R's bubble is against facts. Even the lawyers, it seems, have surrendered to the Tao of Trump. And if he fires them or they leave, it's like one of those carnival booths where the little ducks just pop up to replace each other. The next one just as bad as the last. The absurdly low quality of lawyering is about the only consistent thing I can say about DT's defense.

I've known a lot of lawyers. I have one as a brother in law. Most can be clever with their words (but so can English majors!), but I don't know a single one who would sell their figurative souls and law career in service of this infamously dishonest farce of a gang leader. Once you're on the team and they print your name, you can basically go from there into gardening or house painting for a career. You'll make it into Wikipedia and not in a good way.
