Strangely, I’ve been craving steamy-hot pho type soup all week, during a heatwave. Gonna make some tonight as I have fresh cilantro and leftover chicken, etc.

Although, I have three corn cobs in the fridge that should be eaten today…

Same here, I have two ears of corn and some turkey I cooked day before yesterday but instead, I'm craving tempura shrimp. I think the turkey and corn can wait one more day.

'Tis the season for butternut squash quiche! I picked up one at the store today, and now I'm looking forward to Friday or Saturday night when I'll cut myself a big piece and gorge on it.

I’ve been craving stick-to-the-ribs type food like meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy. Probably because of the chilly weather.

Trader Joe's has 'pumpkin spice hummus' right now, and it's weird, but so yummy. Like 'cookie butter' but not as greasy and heavy. I'd really like some but I used it all up after they closed tonight.

So what I'm really jonezing for is another bottle of something red derived of grapes. My allergies are making me *miserable* (several days of brutal santa anna dust/pollen blowing through then a sudden rain storm which now has all the spores and molds blossoming like crazy.... my face won't stop leaking and I'm going berzerk). Getting squiffy is a nice distraction from the biological nightmare happening around my eyes/nose right now.

/me stomps out into the night, and returns with a varietal from the local packy store. "Mission accomplished!"

/me slinks over to the couch to finish catching up on 'Miraculous Ladybug" because why not.
