He's lost Rupert Murdoch.

Ingraham said in part: “If and when it’s time to accept an unfavourable outcome in this election, and we hope it never comes, but if and when that does happen, president Trump needs to do it with the same grace and composure he demonstrated at that town hall with Savannah Guthrie. So many people remarked about his tone and presence. Exactly what he needs.

“Now losing, especially when you believe the process wasn’t fair, it’s a gut punch. And I’m not conceding anything tonight, by the way. But losing, if that’s what happens – it’s awful. But president Trump’s legacy will only become more significant if he focuses on moving the country forward.”

His lead on Wednesday was 7K, then Thursday it was 14K, now 21K. Biden scoring Touchdowns daily in Nevada.
Clark County, NV includes Las Vegas, which accounts for 2/3 of the total votes in the state so far. The more empty desert parts of the state have fewer votes remaining to be counted. Like most cities, it leans Democratic, and the pandemic has devastated their economy - tourists and conventions are just not happening. So the mail ballots are going heavy for Biden.

The media just seems to be overly cautious in calling states. I think they are waiting until the remaining votes are less than the leader's margin. At that point its mathematically impossible to lose. With crowds of Trump cultists hanging out near the election office, at that point the police can order them to disperse.

If PA holds, we, or rather the voters and all of the hard working campaign folks as well as everyone who urged friends and family to vote, will have taken back the three states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, which helped propel Trump to office.

That feels good! Big shout out to our own PA hero, Shiloh!
I'm incredibly proud of my neighbors in Atlanta, who have turned Georgia blue. But our work isn't done. There are two US Senate runoffs here, and if we can win them, that will give us control of that chamber. I know everyone is tired of elections at this point, but we could use the help of the rest of the country in the next two months. The runoff is Jan 5th because state law allows a month each for additional voter registration and overseas ballots.

So let's flip the Senate and kick turtle McConnell out of his leadership position. That will prevent more Supreme Court fuckery and general political obstructionism.

Right now it looks like Mother Nature is aiming for a little payback. Wandering storm Eta is on track to hit Cuba, south Florida, *and* the panhandle.
It would be amusing if it destroyed what is possibly orangeys preferred getaway destination.

I wonder how many of those dead from Covid would have voted for him? It would be ... interesting ... if he would have won, otherwise. Probably not, but anyone want to do the math?
It would be not just those who died, but family, friends, and co-workers who knew them who actually did vote. More generally, the people who think he did a bad job on the pandemic and the resulting lockdowns, recession and unemployment. When all the post-election analysis is done, I think it likely he screwed himself out of re-election in January by botching the response and everything he did afterward to make it worse.

Biden's lead in Georgia has been booshed to around 4.3k. It's not enough to avoid the automatic recount, but it is a bit safer from the possibility of being overturned than 1.5k. Moar would of course be better.
We got moar. It's up to 7,248 now. At this point they are dealing with "provisional ballots" (if you got a mail ballot and then decided to vote in person), which take time to make sure the person didn't vote twice, overseas ballots, and some mail ballots that were missing an envelope signature and had to be "cured" (show up in person to verify that was your ballot). Basically final dribs and drabs.

You, please, have to try and understand that this is deliberate negligence, slipping into genocide on a mass scale. It gets even better. When he realized that the majority of folks dying were poor and/or minority he fully decided that he was on board with letting them die.
The wheels of justice grind slowly, but they also grind finely. I expect Trump to spend the rest of his miserable life fighting the courts as they slowly take away everything he has - his assets, his family, and his personal freedom. It will be the reality show I will watch with a smile.

He's lost Rupert Murdoch.
Fox was never that into him. He and his followers were a useful tool to get tax cuts for the rich. Now that he's of no further use to them, they are dropping him like he does to everyone else for the same reason. Murdoch's media properties want to retain an audience, so they are pivoting. When the court cases start for Trump, I expect they will be saying "OMG he's a bad person" with no trace of shame.

And then the recount starts..... so Georgia will basically be end of the month or so before we get their final results.
Recounts rarely change many votes. Our elections people know how to count, and any questionable ballots have already been reviewed by Dem and Repug observers. Unlike Pennsylvania, we also had a hard cutoff for mail ballots on election day. So there are no late ballots to question like they have.

Absolutely. I have been holding off on commenting about Georgia because it is so close, but even if Trump takes it, y'all have turned a deep south state, at a minimum, into a swing state; that is unheard of in these times.

That is something to be very proud of and you deserve congratulations for all of the hard work that made that come to be. You have said you need our help. Tell us how we can help, please.

I would just like to point out that the popular vote lead for Biden is now 50% larger than what Clinton earned in 2016. By the time big states like California and New York finish their *really* slow count, it is likely to be twice Clinton's margin.

I know the popular vote doesn't matter for choosing the President, but it's good to see a bigger margin so we can say "He won, get over it."

Thanks. I did my small part as a member of my county Democratic Party. Mostly I was encouraging people in my area to register, providing election information (where to vote, how to get absentee ballots, etc.), and then to actually cast their votes. Couldn't do the knocking on doors or live events because of the pandemic, so it was all online stuff. There were a huge number of other people doing that kind of "ground work", which is just as important as the candidates giving speeches, TV ads, and mailing flyers.
