That is about right. Why are people so attached to team names that use a derogatory word anyway? Just make a rule that team names can not be the same as have ever been used for a group of people. My elementary school would have to change, even though it is the collective noun associated with the town name, but I am betting there would be more debate about the cost than any sentimentality. Or if you want to allow reasonable names say if the name EVER was used in a derogatory way the sports associations would not recognize the team.
