Two teenage brothers have been arrested after their sister was shot and died during a row over Christmas presents.

Abrielle Baldwin, 23, was shot in the chest by one brother while she had her 10-month-old son in a carrier, the Florida sheriff's office said.

The brother was then shot by their other sibling, who pulled his own gun, Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

It added that the shooting followed an argument over who was getting more presents.

A day after a gunman killed a sixth grade student and wounded five other people at Perry High School northwest of Des Moines, Donald Trump returned to the state at a campaign event and told residents that they “have to get over it.”

During his speech at Sioux Center, Iowa, the former president gave his thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families, emphasizing that “we’re really with you as much as anybody can be.” After stating the tragedy was “terrible” and “horrible,” Trump insisted: “We have to get over it. We have to move forward. We have to move forward.”

I'm sure the parents are ready to move forward, a mere one day after the shooting.

An anger management therapist shot a man and stuffed his body in the trunk during an “ongoing dispute,” Florida police said.

Travis McBride, 46, is charged with first-degree premeditated murder, Volusia County jail records show. His attorney information is not listed.

McBride became the subject of a homicide investigation when police received a call about a “suspicious incident” at about 7 a.m. on Jan. 18, the DeLand Police Department said in a news release.

Investigators found 51-year-old Clinton Dorsey in the trunk of McBride’s car, police said. They added the two men knew each other and there was no threat to the community.

A Michigan jury convicted a school shooter’s mother of involuntary manslaughter Tuesday in a first-of-its-kind trial to determine whether she had any responsibility in the deaths of four students in 2021.

Prosecutors say Jennifer Crumbley had a duty under Michigan law to prevent her son, who was 15 at the time, from harming others. She was accused of failing to secure a gun and ammunition at home and failing to get help for Ethan Crumbley’s mental health.

The guilty verdicts — one for each student slain at Oxford High School — were returned after roughly 11 hours of jury deliberations.
