When the Epstein Files are released...

What will you do when the Epstein Files are finally released?

  • I'm gonna party like it's 3998 (1999 x 2)

  • Nothing (because it''ll NEVER happen)

  • Prepare for the mega-rioting to come

  • Take that long overdue stress nap

  • "I will diminish, and go into the West and remain Galadriel."

  • Consume way too much pie and whiskey

Democrat Representatives and Senators have copies of the files do they not? At least the committee members do. But the delays grant enough suspicion that the files have been manipulated from both sides so are wholly unreliable. It's all fake Dave. Nothing is provable if multiple versions of "the files" are floating around. I'm thinking that's the the administrations planned tactic.

Dear Home of the Brave USA,

Any chance you can shift some of your funding to start putting billboard like this ups in more politically redder locations than Midtown Manhattan? Just a thought.

Thanks for your service.

Love and peace out,

Someone on Threads mentioned the "pocket veto," which has me concerned. Normally, the president has ten days to either sign a bill or veto it, or it becomes law automatically, so long as Congress is in session when it happens. But what if Congress isn't in session on the tenth day, such as being on Thanksgiving break, for example?

From what I've gleaned, they don't go out of session for Thanksgiving. It's more of a "soft" leave that doesn't count against the bill. Fingers crossed.

Considering that the bill passed the Senate unanimously, I don't think he can veto it?

He can try, but the unanimous votes means they have the 2/3rd's majority to override any veto.

White House 'Official' Response On Trump's Quiet Piggy' Statement

Donald Trump has faced renewed scrutiny after telling Bloomberg correspondent Catherine Lucey to be 'quiet, piggy' during a press gaggle aboard Air Force One on 14 November 2025. The exchange took place as Lucey questioned him about newly released emails connected to financier Jeffrey Epstein. The remark was heard by journalists travelling with the former president and quickly reported by national and international media outlets.
The White House has defended Trump's conduct and has insisted that the comment was a direct response to what officials described as unprofessional behaviour during the encounter. They stated that the remark was not intended as a sexist insult and that it had been misinterpreted once circulated online. Despite this, the exchange has placed a fresh spotlight on the relationship between the US president and the press, and the boundaries of acceptable language in political settings.

We may have reached a point that even stupidly stubborn self-centered politicians understand that withholding the Epstein Files is suicidal in every way and are passing the buck as quickly as they can. Trump is incapable of understanding but the White House staff can trick him into signing so that it's off their plate. Bondi, though, is utterly uselessly stupid and may fall on her sword over it. Her replacement will understand; the WH staff will see to that; the files will be released; then the theory of nefarious manipulation will be endlessly promoted.

There is safety in numbers. By all voting for it, no one person is as likely to be singled out by Trump and then harassed by his MAGA goon squad.

I'm wondering just how isolated this administration (and Congress) truly are. Out here in US-ville, this issue has become a gigantic albatross on DT's administration - even from a conservative view.

It's entirely possible that the truth finally seeped into his Cheeto brain and he's going to try to survive-by-lying as he always does.

Wonder if she knows Trump is willing to cut her loose? I really wonder if Trump can process that Chancellor Lord Vought and Darth Miller are now willing and able to cut him loose? But my brain tells me that he can never imagine such a thing.
